Atmosphere of course in front of Payette Lake and the mountains is a given. Staff were polite and kept up with our orders and... drinks. Food was okay. Nothing notable to say excellent. We ordered 3 appetizers 2 out of 3 were prepared well. However themuscles as we went through them and came down to our last 4 to try were full of grit- so we left the remaining 7 in the pan andasked our waitress to please let the chef know. Our Cesar salad was prepared as expected and the taste of anchovy paste wasevident in the dressing. Our entree wasn’t great, as an Italian influenced chef the chicken Marsala fell flat. Chicken wasserved with a bone in it too. The chicken was however juicy. Broccoli served with it was tough and fibrosis. Mashed potatoeswere good. Marsala sauce was good but not great. Kristin our server was very pleasant and she was training Jody as well and Jodywas really good too. In following the examples of fine dining this didn’t reach the level it should. Just a bit more attentionto details and care and passion for each food creation should be given. Pricing is very fair for the area. Read more
This is a wonderful experience. The service, view, and atmosphere are incredible. High quality and relaxed. No need to... rush. This is what I had expected from a ski town like McCall! Beautiful lake view! Delicious food and drinks! Very friendly and... attentive staff!! Great overall atmosphere! McCall is in a shortage of good restaurants and Cutwater is heads and toes abovethe competition! Definitely try to go on a clear sunny day! The view is refreshing! Read more
Beautiful place on the lake. Great service, asked to move tables so I can be closer to water (wanting a special seat since it... was my bday) and they even surprised me with a cake! Great experience! Our server was wonderful! She was kind & helpful & paid attention to details. The food was amazing. I had the... Thai Green Curry with tofu & it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Our cocktails were perfect. The lake views made theexperience even better. We will definitely come back to this spot. Read more
