This is a great place to bring elementary school children. There are many interesting articles on display with regards to maple... syrup production. We went for breakfast and were pleased with the options and quality. The menu is limited to items that wouldtypically consume maple syrup. Pancakes and french toast. Great experience. Nice service. Fluffy pancakes, tasty French toast & some of the best sausages ever. No admission here to... visit. We had a reservation for dining but probably didn?t need one in the middle of summer ;) Most of us had the ?Canadian?meal - which was 1 pancake & 1 French toast with 3 sausages. Everything was absolutely delicious and they bring you a WHOLEbottle of maple syrup - not some little plastic cup like most of the maple farms. I usually HATE breakfast sausages but I lovedthese. I ate all three. Kids went on the swings, slide & zipline after which they never wanted to leave. They spied someanimals from the zip line and quickly ran over to find some cute sheep & alpacas. One of our party members was to meet usthere, and they got lost on the way. There is no cell service at Wheeler?s - so if you DON?T know where you are going I wouldrecommend downloading an offline map before leaving cell/wifi service. Read more

My first time ever at a sugar shack, and it didn't disappoint! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the pancakes (seriously... good), and the sausages were amazing! The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a nice short walk along the trail,also stopping to see the beautiful sheep and alpacas near the museums which we also toured! Of course, we made sure to getourselves a 2 litre bottle of Very Dark Maple Syrup! A fun excursion and a beautiful day. Can't wait to go back ???? Read more

We have visited this farm today for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised. It is a maple syrup production season and... there were many visitors. The farm is so nice and ready for the guests! You need to book a table in their pancake housebeforehand, no admission required. They serve huge pancakes, and they are so delicious! There are a couple of museums on theterritory, a wigwam, a small shed with animals and beautiful trails. Kids loved the playground. Everything is located not faraway, so there?s no wagon rides, it?s easy to walk around even with small kids. Read more

Quite honestly the best pancake I've ever had. The French toast was also quite good, as was the maple sausage. And, of course,... the maple syrup was awesome. Great little spot for a walk and to see some cool old tools and chainsaws. Friendly staff and greatservice! Read more
