I?m am furious and utterly offended! I just dined at Castillo Real in McDonough and had the worst service from ?one of the... owners? I?ve ever received. His name is Ron. I ordered the Strawberry Margarita and could not finish the drink. It causedtingling/burning on my tongue and had an aftertaste. I told our server I couldn?t enjoy the drink and asked that she remove itat the end of our meal. Note: throughout my meal she never asked ?how is your drink? and it stayed on the edge of the tablealmost untouched. The manager came over and I told him about the drink and he said, ??the drink is made from strawberrypulp?it?s NOT THE DRINK?IT MUST BE YOU?I cannot remove this from your check?? What?!?? I have never been treated this way. Whynot say, ?ma?am can I offer you another drink?? Unbelievable! He ended up taking $2.38 off of a $9.50 strawberry margarita thatI could not drink. A month ago, we sat next to a couple and watched a huge water bug/roach fall from the ceiling and land inher lap. We stayed away because it freaked us out. We tried to give them another chance tonight because the waitstaff are sweetand the food is good. But?I will NEVER come here again. Read more
I came today for lunch hours and sat at the bar. My Bartender was amazing and very friendly. He was great and fast. He also made... sure to check on me frequently. The hostess at the door greeted me promptly. Also, the food was filling and great barilla tacoand mango margarita was top notch. I would definitely come back. Great service. Read more
I enjoyed this place. Went with the family. Food was great. Had a waiter that made really good recommendations to "not just get... a burrito you can get that anywhere". He was right and made dinner with the family even better. The only reason not a 5 theplace is a bit dated. The booths needed a little patch work on the cushions but that's and the RED salsa being a little tootomato tasting (might have been the night the batch was made) are the only reason it is not a 5 of 5. Honestly after 10 minutesI didn't even care or notice. The salsa verde....SOOOOOOOOOO Good. Did I mention the food was amazing! Oh well of I did it wastasty enough to be said twice. We will be back! Service was slow during non-peak hours, but that's my ONLY complaint. Great food. My four year old said its the best place... he's ever been...albeit his experience is limited. Read more
This was my first time to try the restaurant. The food was delicious!! The service was outstanding! Our server, Ace, was... awesome! I tried the chicken street tacos, cheese dip, and guacamole. And the margarita was perfect. I?m happy that I found alocal restaurant that has great food and service. I can?t wait to go back. Read more
Delicious. Street style tacos were great. I did have to ask for limes and green sauce though. I feel like street style tacos... should come with these by default. The beef Chile relleno was awesome as well. The prices are a little more than what I'dexpect, but I thought it was worth it. I enjoyed myself thoroughly and will be back for more. Read more
