First time coming there I ordered my pizza and I was so disgusted with the manager not using gloves while making my pizza after... touching a lot of stuff. he was also very rude after I asked him to politely wear gloves. I sooooo do not recommend coming hereit is very unsanitary.???? Read more
I should have read the reviews. Marco's was one of our favorite pizza places before we moved from NC. They were also really good... in Alabama. Here however?. We probably will never visit this location again. What we ordered: Curbside 1Lg BYO pizza and 1 Lg1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni. We did romasean crust as we always do. What we received: For starters, my baby is sick which is why Iordered curbside. I shouldn?t have to explain that. When I got there at 4:13 (which is when the web told me to be there) Iclicked ?I?m here.? The app says to STAY IN YOUR CAR. I waited until 4:30. I called and the guy on the phone said, ?I just gotto the computer.? No sorry, no we will be there in one moment. Nothing. I said, hi, I was just wanting to let you all know thatI am here, and make sure I?ve checked in correctly. (Being respectful as I?ve worked in food/customer service as well). The guyseemed very annoyed and said they were coming. I waited about 5 minutes and a lady came to my car passenger seat. Nobody?s inthe passenger seat. Even after she sees my driver window completely down. I took my seatbelt off, rolled the window down andapologized for ordering curbside, as they seemed very annoyed to have to bring my curbside order out to the car. She definitelyrolled her eyes and said, ?it?s alright.? I just drive away. I get home and open the box to a half burnt pizza and on the otherdecent pizza, no romasean crust. Just dry crust. The pizza wasn?t cut through so I did have to cut it but hey that?s no bigdeal. It?s more so the attitude received from people working that decided to go to work today. This location has really gone down since they change ownership. The service socks, very bad & the pizza is not the same. Marco's... is my favorite pizza, I will have to drive to another location although this one on Racetrack Rd is 3min from my house. Read more
Some days the food is great, but other days it suffers and seems undercooked. The sauce they use is pretty sweet for my taste... too. That said, the staff is usually friendly and helpful if there is an issue. Read more
Trying calling no one ever answered the phone so had to place order on line .,went to pick it up and the people never never... once said good afternoon and anything , they were to busy with a employee time card or driver app on there phone. They were notbusy. I asked for a certain Mgr and they said he was in atlanta and didn't know when he will be back. The company i work forwould had fired me for not greeting people in such a way. The Mgr has always taken good care of me and my co-workers when weordered from marcos, the pizza bowl was very skimpy, Why these employees were left in charge , i have no ideal , don't know if iwant to order from there again with out talking to someone next time. I placed a order online at 8:30 pm and selected 9:15 delivery time, I continously checked the track your order and each ... time there was a different time. I checked prior to making the review and the app is saying delivery will be 10:40 (pizzawas delivered at 10:26), which is 2 hours after I placed the on-line order. When placing the order there was no indication orders were running behind. I have called continously for 30 minutes and no answer! This is unacceptable! I live about 5miles from this location, if my husband and I were not on a date night in Sandy Springs I would have just picked up the pizza( my sitter is unable to drive). While typing this review a cold pizza was delivered at 10:26. In the future they should tell you when ordering they are experiencing a delay with delivery. My reason for giving a rating of 5-stars is not because I received five star service, but rather to capture the attention of the... owner(s) in hopes of helping them to make improvements. We have been regular customers of this establishment for approximately 8years and the service and food has consistently been satisfactory. In the most recent months, however, we have noticed a drasticchange. Yet, we still remained customers. Not ordering as frequently, but customers nonetheless. After my encounter today as aMarcos customer, I decided that I am officially done. My order was scheduled to be ready between 6:06 p.m. and 6:16 pm. Iarrived at 6:06 p.m. An employee came out to assist me at 6:20 pm. So far, no problem. He asked for my name and returned backinside to the store. Moments later, he came back to my vehicle, asked for my name again and returned back inside. At about 6:35PM, the employee brought part of my order out to me. I informed him that the lemon pepper wings were missing, and he proceededback inside the store. Around 7 pm, he came back to my vehicle and asked "haven't I given you your food already." I informed himagain that I was missing the wings and he went back inside. While inside the restaurant, I saw the employee talking with a woman(supervisor or manager) then she pointed at a box. He then walked around the counter from the kitchen, picked up the box, openedit, used his unwashed hands to pull back the foil from the wings, poured an insane amount of lemon pepper seasoning on thewings, closed the foil, closed the box, then brought it out to me. When he got to my vehicle, the wings were not hot, whichsolidified my thoughts exactly. The container of wings were sitting there the entire time. When I questioned him about it, hestated that he didn't realize they were there because he was busy answering phones. Side note: During my one hour stay, he onlyanswered the phone twice. The pizza lacked sauce. It was dry and bland. Must have been a busy night. Took 3 hours to deliver with estimated time of... delivery being off by 30 minutes. Please read the reviews before ordering. Read more
