I visited this place last night for my friends birthday and the service was horrible. There was only one waitress for the entire... club. We ordered food and it never came after 3 hours. When she finally brought the food there were wings missing as if someonehad been eating off the food. I couldn?t believe how horrible the service was. We literally had to chase her down to pay for ourstuff and. Please hire more help because the food looks good that I saw others eating, great music and vibes. I was introduced to this spot by the beautiful waitress Mocha and I've enjoyed it both times I visited. The food was amazing... too, both times! The second time I went there was a beautiful waitress with a short Caesar hairstyle, big hopped earring and redlipstick.. she was so sweet and made the best drink for me at the bar! The guests at the bar was also nice to me as well. I willdefinitely be back. I forgot that the DJ is on point on Fridays! He was so adorable when he came over to our table and asked ifwe had any requests ... he also wanted to know how he was doing.. love that! I also love the security staff! I felt like theywould definitely protect me even though they have a smile. This is my spot now! Read more
The servers here are friendly liars. They?ll say something will be out in a few minutes but then take way longer without any... communication. Been lied to a few times here. Tip: Customers value honesty and updates. Read more
Ketia was awesome! Explained it all to me and my boyfriend who had never eaten this type of food. The only thing, was they... didn?t have diet soda options. Otherwise it was good and will go back. Read more
My experience at Tambou Lounge was a great one. The food, the tasso cabrit I ordered, was delicious. My only not so great... feedback was that I didn't hear any haitian music, which I expected to hear. But I understand the audience isn't just haitianso I give them a pass on that. Hard but fair! After my first experience with this Tambou Lounge which was 11months ago I was highly disappointed. But went in... there tonight and was highly pleased that they paid attention to the customer reviews and addressed the customer complaints! Iordered same plate but got different results and as I can write a negative review when on an issue I can also write a positivereview when things change! Plate was perfect and they definitely give you what you pay for now! Money well spent tonight noquestion! It was never about the quality of the food here but quantity and now they are spot on! I'm Soo Glad I decided to give this place a try. This Bar/Lounge changes the dynamics of not just Haitian food but Caribbean... Food as a whole! Perfectly seasoned meat. And the place is nicely decorated and clean and does not have an awful lingeringsmell. I ordered the Fried Pork (Griot) with Black Rice, it also comes with veggies and fried Plantains.
