This place is so wonderful!! Great attentive staff. Clean food area. First time here an will be back. They have a full menu. But... also have a buffet. The food was very good an hot an fresh. Salad bar is awesome too. An they give you cake an ice cream. Fordessert with the buffet. Read more
Not sure what has happened over the years, but the food has gotten worse. Asked for gravy on this omelet and the home fries... ain't seasoned at all..also, there was no toast or biscuit with it. Read more

Today we took a family member to lunch that recently had surgery and is still having to use a cane to walk. She gets around a... little slow, so we were behind her. The owner himself took us to be seated, and hurriedly took off to the very back of therestaurant, leaving us to follow. When the family member in front on the cane was finally able to catch up to him, she askedpolitely if we could be seated closer to the front and nearer the buffet. His response, while looking at her standing there withthe use of a cane, was ?well, you?re already here, so what difference does it make?? We had passed several empty tables in thefront, so I could not see a problem with this request. He also said it loudly enough that several nearby tables heard him, aswell as a couple of the employees. The employees were nice enough to come by the table and apologize for the owners rudebehavior, and one of the nearby tables also commented on it. We always look forward to eating there, even if we have to drive 40miles to do so, but after today, I know of at least 2 groups of people that want be back. Don?t be a rude jackass and expectpeople to spend their $$ with you. There are dozens of places to eat that will treat their customers with respect. Read more
I tried the buffet with my Mom today for lunch. Friendly staff. She loved the food. I thought it was better than good for the... price, but you need to be into "country" type food. She got the Salisbury steak in brown mushroom sauce and a pile of sides. Igot the country/chicken friend steak with white gravy. Both were good. Sides run to the starchy side, although the salad bartasted good. Looking for forward to going back, maybe on the weekend when they have a little different selection. Also goodice cream and cake included on buffet. We only got the one meat version of the buffet, but whole meal for both of us withdrinks and taxes was just over $25.00 Read more

Great place to eat and very nice staff. My waitress was incredibly nice and great at her job (she should get a promotion or... something). I got a 8 oz steak with potatoes and corn for only $14. The food came out really fast and tasted very good. Highlyrecommend anyone to go and check it out. Read more
I wasn't expecting a buffet, but was so thrilled that they had one! Everything was absolutely delicious, lots of comfort foods... that taste like Grandma's home cooking. Really fun atmosphere with lots of fun ephemera on the walls to see! The staff couldn'thave been friendlier and made me feel right at home. And George Bush himself eats there quite often! I highly recommend this toanyone passing through. Read more
