I was driving through McHenry and thought I'd try out a restaurant that was new to me. Overall the szechuan chicken was okay -... not the best but not bad. But the egg roll tasted like smelly feet. Maybe the oil was old? Not sure. I probably wouldn'treturn if I'm in the area. Due to covid precautions, there was no bathroom option and the environment didn't feel welcoming tome. Read more
This is the pepper steak. Ate around the ridiculous amount of vegetables. Maybe 1/10 of this meal was actually the steak, and... that's being optimistic about the proportions. The chicken fried rice was extremely bland along with the rest of my meal. Usedto be my go to Chinese restaurant but seems like it has changed for the worse. Read more
I have been going there for about 3 years. The food taste and the service has changed for the worse. I know the boss Andy and I... feel like he's the only person that's nice and attentive to customer service. The older lady that works at the window needs tolearn better customer service if she's going to work at the window. I try to tell her the errors and she really doesn't seemlike she cares. The food taste has changed too quite a bit. I stopped going there frequently for the past 1 year and a half. Ionly now get the egg drop soup for my kids. Which is hard to mess up. I used to support the business a lot by going there a fewtimes a week and even my older kids would support them but not anymore. Sorry Andy, if you seen me you would know who I am. Fantastic food. I'm never disappointed. Ordered online and was able to pick it up 10 minutes later.
Not bad at all. Great price and great food. I ordered general tso's chicken and sweet and sour chicken dinners. I like how they... put the sweet and sour sauce on the side. They also let us substitute the pork fried rice for lol mein noodles. The generaltso's chicken is good, but it wasn't spicey. Next time I order it I will inquire about making it spicier.
