Service was fantastic but the food wasn't so good. I had shrimp scampi. The shrimp was very fishy tasting and the Asparagus was... extremely hard and disgusting. It appeared that the Asparagus was nothing but narrow hard stems and it was very hard and wayunder cooked. Her chicken parmesan was OK at best with very little sauce and the chicken breast was tough. We usually go to theOlive Garden in Pleasant Prairie and have never had the issues we had here. In this day and age of limited labor, especially in the restaurant industry, one of the specific details I pay attention to is... how well the team and it's staff can handle the extreme business with little people. Things being as they are, we came in duringthe beginning of a rush on a Thursday night. We expected a wait, didn't have one. Awesome, so things rolling really well rightof the bat. Ordered drinks, typical Amaretto Sour for me. It was perfect. Other guest got a strawberry cocktail that wasflavored extremely well. Chicken Gnocchi soup for the whole table because we still can't order anything different, why wouldyou when it's always straight FIRE with dumb amounts of cheese? (Translation: it was good, better when you say yes to cheese) Igot the Ravioli Carbonara, it was fancy Alfredo Ravioli with bacon but it was also perfect, near scalding hot, and exactly whatwas expected. The service itself was a little slower then 2010's standards but as I stated to begin with, this is just howwaiting staff and restaurants have been going. It isn't the 2010's anymore and service time are just going to go up. If you goto a restaurant, plan for an hour to an hour and 30 minutes. Just have some patience, times have changed. Physical serviceitself was amazing. She kept coming back when she could to make sure we were doing good. Got refills when needed. They did awonderful job with what they had. Read more
