If I could give a half star I would. The best thing about this place was the grilled shrimp I had to order after the buffet was... a fail. But I had to wait 30 minutes for it to arrive. We recieved rolls at the end of the meal. The crab was rubbery. Thechicken and meatloaf and staks looked like they had been out since this morning. They refused to accept the gift card that I hadpurchased. The waitress never refilled drinks or returned to the table. Instead the nice goth gentleman had to clear our tablefor us. When we arrived they had already messed up someone else's order. The salad bar tasted like TRASH. And I never got mypotato soup. 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Read more

Came to town for a football game and decided to try this place. We always like to try the non-chain eateries when we go... somewhere new. I'm being generous by giving this place 3 stars. Only reason I'm giving that much was because our server wasnice. Sure, the decor could use a major upgrade, but starting with the owner needs to be expedited to the top of the list. Whilewaiting nearly 10 minutes for a server to come to our table, he was stalking around while grumpily chewing someone out over thephone. Then after we ordered, my husband went to the buffet and the owner was having a staff chew-out at the table directlybeside the door when you walk in. He was personally berating each employee out in the open. This delayed my food which turnedout to be mediocre. I ordered the pork chop, rice, and the soup of the day - potato. Initially, they only brought out a smallside of rice and said that was all that was ready of my order. The pork chop was cut twice wide open and it was dry (to checkfor doneness I'm sure) and was extremely salty.i was served additional rice with the pork chop - which was different than thefirst kind I was served. The potato soup came out in a huge bowl that would've fed 3 people. It was absolutely terrible! Myhusband enjoyed a few things from the buffet. Overall, it won't be a place I'll stop at again coming through here. Everything about this place is going downhill. Broken seats, wait for a long period of time to be seated, get seated and get... food but no Utensils, call to order ahead and no one ever answers the phone, a group of people had to wait so long for theirfood they had to ask for it to go because they had to leave, and my favorite, go to pay and have to wait for 10 minutes forsomeone to come take your money. It had been a long time since we had eaten here. We had a family gathering today and this was the biggest restaurant that could... accommodate us in Mckenzie. The waitresses were fantastic! The food was good. Although not a lot of selection. I went during lunch, so perhaps the dinner selection after 3PM offered more... choices. Usually when I go for the buffet I usually get two plates worth. This time I only got the one. I got tired of shooingaway all the flies. I would have to say that was their biggest problem to solve. The taste of the food wasn't bad. The friedchicken was juicy and tender inside. All the food I had was good. Not great, not terrible, but good. I'd like to see them putout more foods that are indicative of the SW. I hope they can get their fly problem under control, but beyond that it was ok Read more
