I was born in Arizona and grew up riding my bike with friends to Barros Pizza. So stoked as an adult I get to take my kids here.... The food is as good is I remember and the sausage and pepperoni they have can?t be beat by anyone. They are a big deal inPhoenix, we?re lucky to have them here in Texas! I was never a fan of Pizza until now. Barro?s is really perfect pizza from the crust to the quality toppings, to the really well... priced dinner. If you like pizza and you think chain pizza is good, Barro?s will BLOW YOUR MIND. My wife is an Italian and sheloves this pizza. Ham, pineapple, onion, garlic, mushroom, green pepper, feta cheese, medium with drink for $20. We could onlyeat 2 slices each it was so filling. A note to the owners. If you keep the quality as it is now, even if you raise the price todo so, I will be forever a loyal customer. Read more
This place was next door to my hotel and I decided to try it out for lunch one day. I ordered a small thin crust Barro?s Special... and added Italian sausage. The pizza was already ready when I arrived early to pick it up. The pizza was absolutely delicious!It was also big enough to eat a second time. I wanted to grab another before my trip ended but unfortunately couldn?t find thetime. Barro?s Pizza is definitely on my list the next time I?m in the McKinney area. Read more
Trash pizza and management that just doesn?t seem to care. Half the booths we tried to sit at the seats were disgusting. Tasted... like pasta more than pizza. Super super oily and greasy, so much it was splashing on people as the pizza was being cut with theserving tool and served as it wasn?t fully sliced from the kitchen. Sauce tasted like canned Ragu. Very disappointing,especially when management was told we didn?t like the pizza after one slice and they did nothing. Don?t waste your money. Overhyped by a million miles. Pizza is awesome!!! I head pepperoni with black olives. We also ordered sausage pizza and a turkey sandwhich. All of them were... great. The mini is definitely big enough for a full meal. Garlic bread is the best ever according to my kid. We will be back!! Read more
Went there for brunch. The atmosphere was very lovely, not busy at all. The pizza slices are huge and tasty. I got a vegetarian... pizza and it was absolutely delicious! The lunch specials are a steal! $6 for a slice, a salad, and a drink! The lady at thefront desk was very nice and polite, the cooks were quick and efficient, every slice of pizza looked the same with same amountof ingredients. Will be back and will recommend! Read more
I don't give out 5 stars easily, but this place is worthy of all 5 stars! Service was friendly & helpful as this was our first... time visiting Barro's Pizza. Small garden salad was HUGE and consisted of iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, andcroutons, while I would have liked more in my salad, the homemade Italian dressing finished it off fantastically! My hubby had1000 Island and said it was really good dressing! Our pizza was superb! Perfect thickness/crispness and the end bite of crustwas chewy and tasty! I had the Apricot Basil Iced tea and was pleasantly surprised. Unsweet and so yummy! Bathrooms, both men'sand women's, were clean.
