Got the salmon lox bagel to go. Bagel itself was cold and dry even though it was apparently toasted. What takes off the stars... for me though is the lack of CREAM CHEESE!! Come on people. Especially for a loaded bagel, this is definitely not nearly enough. Also the side hash brown I got for my daughter was burnt on the edges, not in a good way because it was inedible. The only pro Ican give is the flavor of the lox itself. But very disappointed. Bagelology is my go to in Little Elm (authentic NY stylebagels) but it was too far plus we wanted to try bennys. Sorry y?all, not for me. Will not try again. Read more

I moved to McKinney a year ago and Benny's has become one of my regular spots. I get the everything with bacon, egg, and avocado... and it's delicious! The staff is friendly and it's a clean, quaint little place. I like the pecan coffee and pour it over ice. Isaw a few negative comments about wait time... I usually visit on Wed or Fri mornings and have never waited more than 15 min formy bagel. Fresh ingredients take time to prepare. Hope to see ya there! Read more

Nothing fancy but the food is as expected. Breakfast, bagels, smoothies, coffees. If you want a quick breakfast with the family... without oily foods like how some bagel places make their food. This is the place to go. It?s a bit confusing on how theiroperations work because someone took my order but I didn?t know who was making my food and where I needed to pick it up. Thefood came out one by one with a good 4-5 minutes between and the smoothie came out after we had finished half our bagel. Asrecommended, if you have time and want to grab breakfast from a whole in the wall kind of place. This is the place to go. Read more

Best bagels around. Also the friendliest staff. I always appreciate the smiles and service when I go in.

Pretty good bagel. I wished they had more breakfast sandwich options. But I LOVED their NYC bagel; everything plus garlic and... onion, done the right way!! Strong work. Read more

So, granted it's a busy Saturday morning, ok, that's expected. Their phones aren't working... drive over and Ordered a bagel... with cream cheese and a salmon lox sandwich croissant (no tomato no capers as I have an allergy) with avocado. The guy at thecounter pulls my husband up and asks "on a croissant? You know how hard it is to spread cream cheese on a croissant??" Husbandexplains that's what his wife (me) wants. He holds up the slip of paper and it can be clearly seen no tomato and no caperscircled. Several people behind in line got their orders first for some reason, then finally get our order. When we finally openit at home, come to find, the salmon sandwich has the tomatoes and capers on it and no avocado (that you pay extra for).Needless to say a little upsetting, though have to admit that the food is fresh and tasty. I came here for the first time last Friday (I think) and let me just say that the lady who takes the orders, even though she is... running around getting orders ready, and you can see how busy she is, she is such a nice person and doesn't let that stressaffect her cheery mood. I adore her! She made the best vegetable cream cheese that she personally makes. I went in there againthis morning and she was just as cheerful as she was last week. Busy too. But her and the guy who makes the orders are very fastand they seem to get people in and out quickly. Great customer service with a smile ?? Read more

They are good but still miles behind NY bagels. I think it?s almost impossible to get NY styled bagel in Dallas. Coffee is... little disappointing. I hope they change from foam cups to paper cups. Staffs are friendly and take all safety precautions. Willtry some other bagels too. Owner's reply- Ashish, we might not be like the bagels in NY, but we're still Texas proud here.Which means fresh ingredients and bigger bagels. Come see us for more soon. Respectfully. - Andrew, Owner There is nocompetition. It's still good but not that level. Please don't bring NY vs TX everywhere. Read more
