Came for lunch. I will say that everyone except me enjoyed their food. I ordered the taco salad and it was not good! The... filling was comparable to a refined bean and cheese soup. One of the most recognizable dishes at a Tex-Mex restaurant is enchiladas. I have, over the last year, visited numerous Tex-Mex... restaurants, ordering specifically this dish. I am happy to say that nobody comes even close to how Christina?s restaurant chainis preparing this dish. Their plates are super hot, the viscosity of the beans is perfect, the temperature of the cheese insidethe enchilada is right on, and so is the temperature and the quality of the rice and the chili con carne sauce. To top it alloff, Christina?s has the very best spicy hot sauce to accompany the meal of any major restaurant chain around. I like to eathot, and I know the difference between a medium level hot sauce and a high-level hot sauce. My large group decided to grab dinner here at the last minute, and they were very accommodating. The service was impeccable and... our food came out very fast. I had the El Jimador Carnitas Burrito. It was just okay and slightly weird. Overall, the flavor waslacking and the Queso didn?t remind me of Queso. This was my first time at Christina?s and I don?t think I?d visit again. Great service at the bar. Chips and salsa margaritas going hard in the paint. Nice place to sit and wait for takeout while... munching on a sweet and rich Mexican apple pie hot and cold clash bit good as hell and impressive place that will last shots ofcream liquor and coffee lift your spirits shake the cool air off me. I was overwhelming happy and impressed with Christina's in McKinney. Andy was our server and he was amazing. I felt like he... treated us like a family member. He check in requently and recommend the restaurants signature dishes. In regards of thefood, my socks were blown off. From the time we sat down. The water, chips and salsa were endless. Just the right salt on thechips, and the salsa had the perfect blend of fresh with a hint of heat. On a final thoughts the churros were amazing. One must try when you visit. Excellent service and really good food! I had the chimichanga and was seriously impressed with how good it was. I had the beef... chimichanga. It had beef, onions, and peppers mixed in together with a fantastic flour wrap. At the end of the meal I was givena Caffe Lolita aperitif and it was the perfect ending to a great meal. First time at this restaurant & my husband and I had an excellent experience. We were seated immediately on busy Friday evening.... Atmosphere was great, nice decor, music. I got the pork tamales, delish. My husband got the chimichanga which he said was an?interesting take? on the dish but enjoyed it. Service was excelente! We will definitely be returning. Read more
