The service was pretty bad, but the food made up for the inconvenience. The mariscada soup was phenomenal. The seafood was... super fresh and plentiful and included half a lobster, shrimp, scallops, mussels and red snapper. My companion had the quail,which was well seasoned and juicy. Read more
As you can see, my favorite dish at Gloria's is QUAIL!! lol Been to their locations at Las Colinas, Firewheel, Frisco and now... McKinney. Always quails for me and enchiladas for husband. This place and particularly the location, needs to be on everyone's list if you're looking for good Latin cuisine. The location... is brand new and looks fabulous inside out. Well thought of decor and welcoming signs make you feel, well very welcome. Largeenough for a family gathering and yet, cozy enough for a date. I was here with my wife on a date night and we were waited by twoamazing waitress (Shout-out to Valeria and Angie, who happen to be sisters) who were very patient and helpful. We never feltrushed and the food came within very short wait time. Food was fabulous, we ordered La Mexicana and Verdes Enchilladas. Forunder $40 bucks, I'd say thus place is spot on, with just about everything. Read more
Very nice place. I do believe that my quesadilla could have been prepare differently, as you can see there wasn't enough... condiments for all of my brisket quesadilla. I think that it should be something else with the waffles considering the price.food was good. Read more
Outstanding Service and Food Quality. This was our first visit to any of Gloria?s locations. All I can say that now have a go to... place. Amazing experience and the restaurant is very clean. By far the best Latin restaurant around. The salsa and bean dip are a big part of what makes this place so great. The have... amazing carne asada and brisket tacos. If you have never had a pupusa they are a must try. Read more
Best food we've had in the area. Both my husband and I agree on that. Kids enjoyed regular mexican meals, one taco, the other... burrito, while we had yummy ceviche, my tilapia was Amazing and my husband's dish was delicious too. Total for 4 with drinks,appetizer, but no alcohol was 72, so not crazy either and we could have easily split the adult dishes. Going back for sure. Read more
Very good quality latin food and it's actually affordable! I ordered the queso and the enchilada combination with Verde sauce.... It came with beans and rice. Everything tasted very authentic, the enchiladas had chicken, beef and shrimp and shrimp was thebest one, perfectly cooked and almost tasted like fresh shrimp because it didn't have the fishy flavor that frozen shrimp has.The chicken and beef ones were alright, the Verde was very good and the queso was super good. The rice tasted perfect and therefried beans tasted very authentic, no canned flavors at all. The black bean dip was unique and I liked it, the red salsa wasvery perfect. And the service was extremely quick, like faster than fast food quick and this was a sit down restaurant, thewaiters kept up with us and did everything in a snap. It's a perfect establishment who knows how to do their job correctly.Everything wasn't $20, but around $15, so almost as cheap as fast food, so the quality is amazing for the price.
