It may not seem like much from the outside but once you get inside you?ll be greeted with good service and great food, from the... starters (in true Texas fashion, try one of the fried options) to the specialty rolls. FYI: The parking lot is a bit tight, most spots are reserved for the other shops on the strip. But that?s expected for being in a good location near downtownMcKinney Read more

Loved everything we ordered, especially the melt-in-your-mouth Toro Sashimi. Soft Shelf Crab batter a bit too thick but still... good. Also appreciated the sample roll. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely go back. Read more

Amazing from start to finish! Not only is the sushi fantastic and expertly prepared, but the service is out of this world. The... Friday night team handled the dinner rush so well. It was great to see their teamwork. We will definitely be back! Read more

A truly satisfying, authentic and unique experience here at this sushi place, everything was amazing! I got the Unagi Bento Box,... which had eel, deep fried melon, sweet potato, onion ring, a dumpling, one full California roll, and eel over rice with aseaweed salad and it was super filling. The sushi was flavorful, the eel was very rich, but not overpowering, the eel sauce ontop was sweet with a true umami flavor, the meal came with a house salad with a very sweet dressing tasting similar to a mangosauce, it also came with miso soup which was very smooth. The quality of service was amazing, the waitress was very caring, respectful and helpful, the sushi master came up to us and asked us how the meal was and we thanked him a lot. All in alleverything was amazing, satisfying and it brings true meaning to quality japanese food, it is about $20/person so a bit up therein price, but I promise you, it's very, very worth it. Food was fine but service was not great and seating was cramped. Seemed to be understaffed (like many places, to be fair). Came... when it was fairly busy and was seated, but the waiter forgot about us and we had to flag another waiter down. There was abouttwo inches of space between our small table and the one next to us and only inches on the other side between our table andsomeone's chair at another table. Since this was a main pathway this meant people would turn and their butts would slide acrossour table. Super close quarters given COVID and just hygiene in general. Nigiri quality was not great. The last time I came here it was 15 minutes before they were going to close so I didn't get to buy anything. Today I finally... came by and got two rolls one being salmon and the other yellowtail. They were really delicious and I had eel sauce with it.They gave me a complimentary roll and even though I do not like or partake in imitation crab this was a really delicious piece. It was covered in some sort of sauce very savory, it may have been peanut sauce with a little bit of soy sauce. Not too sure. The salad was a little too salty for my taste but it was nice on the side. I think that one was a ginger sauce. The ambiance wasreally nice and had a nice home feel to it. Everything is really fresh and cut to order. It is a little on the pricey side, butthat is what you would expect for quality sushi. My order total came out to be a little over $16. Read more
