My wife and I tried this place for lunch while we were in that area. Their food was flavorful and the service was great. We... ordered their queso which was really delicious, chicken tacos(we felt the chicken was little over cooked but still had theflavor), chicken tortilla soup was fresh and flavorful and their Salsa was nice and spicy. I would recommend this place. Read more

We had a group of 11 and the server was a very nice young man. He communicated well with the group, but considering it wasn't... busy, things were delivered slow from the bar and the back of the house which wasn't his fault. My Cadillac margarita was good, but small for the $13 price. All sodas were replaced as soon as they were half full which was good. We asked for the children tobe fed first and he made it happen. I ordered the chili Relleno. It was very good. The pepper was not mush and the breading wascrisp with chili con Carne red sauce on top(kinda like chili, but more of a mexican flare. It's served with lime or Spanish riceand refried black beans. The rice was bland.. no lime taste. Black beans were ok...spicy end to them, but just a bowl of thickpaste. From the flautas, quesidilla, enchiladas, etc at our table... the only thing that stood out was my rellano and theirchips and green salsa. On the way out, I told our server that the female waitresses should not be playing with theirhair...gross. Read more

A friend and I had lunch a Petra today and it was great! We were greeted and sat at a table immediately. Our drinks with chips... and salsa were on the table in no time. Our server knew the menu and menu options well as we asked for substitutes. Our orderwas taken and our food was on the table in less than 10 minutes. Everything was fresh and just as we had ordered! Everythingwas extremely clean and the ambiance was perfect. Lots of windows with great music playing throughout the restaurant! Whateveryou do.....Don't forget to order the queso! Read more

I don't know what to say about this place. The chips and salsa was the only reason for two stars. Chips and salsa was good, but... that's a cover for the terrible food. We ordered marinated carne asada skirt steak and it was so tough we couldn't eat it. Itwas NOT marinated in anything but butter. It was not skirt steak at all. It was so rare. I ordered ground beef tacos on corn andit came out on flour and there was NO flavor. I mean no flavor like straight ground beef. It was awful. Husband ordered beer, guess what, it was flat. It just was not meant to be for us. We will not be going back. Read more

We had an excellent tex mex lunch at Petra a week ago. Ordered their veggie enchiladas and assorted tacos. Everything was... delicious. Chips and salsa were the best I have had so far and I live in NYC. Read more

I stopped in for a late lunch today while I was out today after a meeting, I have driven by many times but decided to stop and... give it a try. It was close to 3:30, so not many patrons inside. The decor is clean and uncluttered. I decided to sit outsideon the small patio, the tables and chairs are colorful with a bright yellow awning overhead. I had chips and salsa deliveredimmediately, served with two salsa options, one red, one green. Both salsa's have a good flavor. Then I sat, and sat, andsat. I hadn't eaten all day so was incredibly hungry so went inside to the bar and asked for a server to come out and see meand ordered a beer from the bartender. Walking back to my table the beer is warm so I turn right around and asked for a coldone. Bartender laughs and says he just put them in the fridge. ???? The server finally came out and was friendly, took my orderand had some good suggestions from the menu. I ordered a sour cream enchilada and a Baja fish taco (with no tomato or onion)rice and borracho beans. The Baja fish taco came out unfortunately with onions that I picked off but still tasted very stronglyof onions. The enchilada had a creamy sauce and was really nice but rice and beans were very bland. I don't often give 2 starsbut the experience was worthy of it in my opinion. ?? Read more

Great place for lunch! Took a friend there for his birthday and they gave us a free dessert! Everything was really good.
