Kim was our waitress. If any one goes here make sure to ask for her. Without a doubt you will not regret it. She's so... knowledgeable, kind and compassionate you can tell she loves her work. The food was great not undercooked or overdone. Lots offood for price. We were taking this seafood costal home to my son. 30 shrimp under it all. Read more

This is our second time eating at Rockfish McKinney in the last 7 days, and it's mostly attributed to our waitress, Angie. Yes,... the food was solid and everyone enjoyed their meals. However, the service was amazing. Angie really knows how to take care ofher customers. She's friendly, efficient, organized, attentive, and gets all details of our request accurately submitted. Thefood came out exactly per our request, and Angie kept checking to ensure we were OK. She even proactively brought out extrasauces when she saw we were running low. Your training department should figure out Angie's formula for success and have hertrain all new service staff. Read more

Be cautious of this place. We ordered non hot, garlic butter and we got nitro hot, wife can't eat it . They offered to wash off... the hot sauce as a solution. . Bad service, bad manager. They even showed me the order, garlic butter.. I ended up eating by myself. Not coming back. $104 bucks not worth it, Razzios is one block north and has better food and management ! Read more

It wasn't bad but it was not spectacular. The salad had no flavor although it had all the right ingredients. The pontacharin... sauce was flavorless as well. The fish was good although lightly fried. The shrimp was excellent. Read more

Good casual seafood chain. I personally love to go here because it is somewhat hidden and there is never a wait to get a table,... which is of course unfortunate for the restaurant but great for patrons like myself. I enjoyed my blacken tuna cooked rare overtheir oscar sauce, which contains bites of lump crab meat. The dish was was well executed. My wife and daughter enjoyed theirraw oyster and clam chowder (I highly recommend you try it). Unfortunately, the seafood gumbo was disappointing as it lackeddepth in flavor (I suggest trying a Cajun restaurant instead). I also have to give a big thumbs up to our waiter that night, hewas one of the better waiters that I can recall in recent memory. He was attentive without being too in your face. Overall, agreat family dining experience for a weeknight. Read more

Had an excellent experience here tonight. I ordered the tilapia Oscar style with two sides included, loaded red potatoes and... sauteed broccoli. Dessert was homestyle bread pudding with a bourbon butter sauce. Yum! Read more

Atlantic salmon should have been sockeye salmon and it should have been seasoned (herbs!). It’s fish, it has to be seasoned!!!... The orzo could have also been seasoned (lemon probably). The roasted brussels sprouts were burnt (you’ve got to flip them)and should have been seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic (roasted garlic would have been nice mixed in); the carrots wereunder cooked and also lacked seasoning. The salads should not be made with iceberg cores EVER. I didn’t order a wedge salad. Mixed field greens, want something crunchy, add romaine, not iceberg. The menu description doesn’t match what you areactually serving. Read more
