Walking in,place smelled of delicious food. Most everything looked great. Ordered the shrimp cocktail, large, spicy, it was... bland and not very good. Had to add Tabasco. Was not worth $18, other nearby places, across the street, have similar large onesin schooners for less. Anyway, the seafood pasta was one, lots of food, same with the fried basket. Wasn't a fan of the drink,but we tried it. Overall, cost about $67 and was quite expensive, but food was pretty good overall. This is by far one of our favorite places, maybe even #1. We must get an appetizer everywhere we go, which is fried calamari... here. I absolutely love getting the flounder and even add a piece of flounder too! My wife loves getting the salmon, but maybenot the mixed veggies next time. Nice, friendly, helpful staff always! They bring out your food as soon as the kitchen had itready, so it is always hot and fresh. It is super quiet and peaceful which is perfect for our Tuesday date nights! They haveopened one of these up in our hometown of Sherman, but even though I keep trying it.....it does not even come close to thisMcKinney location. I'll be honest, I didn't really like it. My salad was 12 dollars but I ended up only eating 1/4th of it. The rest will get... tossed. The fries are incredibly thin. The fish was alright. But a little dry and made me choke. The little corn dogs were alittle over cooked. My 1 year old almost choked too. Even with cutting them. I know my family likes it here, but the pricing isnot for me. Read more
Very disappointed! Paid over $55.00 for my meal. I said I was eating at the restaurant, but they prepared my meal to go.... Everything in my platter tasted like water, no seasoning at all. I asked Cajun extra spicy. The shrimp extremely small,crawfish overdone, they were mush, crab legs were not fresh, they had a smell to them. The corn and potatoes was soaked in thisred oil, still no flavor. All of the seasoning was just thrown on top of the seafood. I tried to express how disappointed I wasand the women says let me just bring you some more sauce. She gave me more red oil sauce!! It was the quality of the food thatwas the problem. What a waste of $ for sure and I always give a restaurant 3 tries because every establishment can have a badday. This was my 5th time here and I know restaurants have had challenges but from this experience. I will not return. I do notrecommend this place at all. Read more
Our first experience was wonderful! This is exactly what Sherman needed!! Liz is the manager and she was so nice and helpful,... even checking to see how the food was and if we needed anything else to drink! Quality customer service with quality food!! Mywife and I travel across the US to eat at great spots and this is definitely a place that we will come to often. Read more
Dec. 31st 4-5 pm Super place ! Food looked like the pics on the menu , impressed with menu on wall , everyone was very helpful ,... but especially the cashier , he described the food when we asked questions and was very personable. Food runners were quick tohelp, almost like if they were waiters . Lady picking up plates took care of us right away . TV?s all over the place ?Goodplace for Sports watch party ! Tables are roomy . This place is AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!! The catfish is moist and tasteful. The chicken is full of flavor and rivals Chick-fil-A... chicken. Yeah. That good! The fries are crispy and seasoned to perfection! And all the dipping sauces you'd come to expect froma seafood place. The ONLY thing I have an issue with, and it's a small issue, is the onion rings. But that's not a huge deal ata seafood place. Oh, and the calamari was GREAT as well! Read more
