I would rate a 2 but i?ll rate a 3 because I haven?t tried everything on their menu but honestly, I don?t want to. I got their... poke bowl and everything was warm and old. Hands down BEST sushi rice in the area. Being Asian and from the east coast we are a bit snobby about our sushi, especially the... texture of the rice. We've tried a bunch of places near Frisco/Mckinney and pretty much felt disappointed at the quality of therice in most places including pricey fancy restaurants. One of our friend recommend Sushi Go and we are now hooked! The beetrice is addictive and perfectly cooked each time- almost similar to the omakase rice we had in Tokyo. We've now tried almostall of Sushi go rolls and they are all delicious! If you like toasty rice we recommend Yakusa. I normally don't care for thesauces but the sauces here are worth the calories-not too sweet nor salty but just the right umami. :) Another pet peeve isquality of the crab meat in most places and Sushi Go definitely uses a higher quality meat. The kids love the udon and fusionbowls at sushi go too so it's a win win for everyone. We didn't expect to find this gem in a strip mall but this place is nowour favorite dine in and take out place. We did a pick up order and it was ready within 15 minutes and fresh! We got the California roll, crunch dynamite and shrimp... heaven roll. They were all fantastic! Loved the miso soup as well. The pieces were pretty big but why would I complain? Morefood and allows for great filling packed roll. We will order from here again. Read more
my family and i love this place and specifically this location...the staff is amazing...the food is always great and the price... is reasonable...especially if you are feeding multiple people. our favorite is the monster roll. i do not understand the reviewwhere the person complains about the roll being too big. looks like a good amount of meat in that roll so hey you are at leastgetting your money's worth, eh? i also do not understand the bad service reviews. we've been coming here a long time and neverhave issues. i think this place gets a lot of orders and perhaps that causes a wait at times...after all...the food is madefresh when you order it. and hey you can always look here on google maps to see what times the store is less or more busy andplan your wait expectations around that. additionally...you can order online directly from the restaurant and drive to pick itup. they will send you a text message when your order is ready...thus decreasing wait time upon arrival. ordering from theirsite also saves you a lot of money over ordering through doordash/uber eats/grub hub...i would know because i've ordered bothways and those delivery services seriously price gouge the customer and the restaurant. First time having what I would call fast food sushi. They have a great selection including the rolls, sashimi, and bowls. The... rice is made with red beets and I found that an interesting spin. This is definitely way better than grocery store sushi, maybeeven restaurant quality and great pricing. Worth checking out if you haven't been. Read more
I ordered a sushi burrito & it was good. Could have used a little more fish & less lettuce, but the flavor was there. I will... definitely call ahead next time since it took 30 minutes for the one burrito & I was not able to wait inside due to restrictions(understandable). Great place for quick and easy. Nothing fancy, just quick and easy. I like to get the poke bowls, so if you haven?t tried them,... go for it. Plenty of food for a meal. Otherwise, plenty of quick options and better selection than getting it from the grocerystore. Read more
