I wanted to try this restaurant because their churros looked delicious! They weren’t unfortunately. They were oily to me with... no crunch. They weren’t fluffy on the inside. We tried the guacamole with crab meat. The crab was okay but didn’t complimentthe guacamole and there’s not a lot of crab meat. More so the taste of crab meat was present. The tacos were good. The chickentinga tacos were flavorful and hearty. The rice and beans were delicious as well. I was sad with the small portions given but Iwas still satisfied. Read more
La Sandia is by far the best Mexican restaurant we have visited. Delicious food and great service. We had Jalisco enchiladas and... shrimp tacos with margarita and mango lemonade. The fried plantain and the sweet rice that came along the enchiladas was supertasty. The complimentary chips and salsa was so good that I asked our server for extra salsa. Overall great visit. Located in side the Mall, it is best to park in Parking Lot E to access La Sandia easily. The food is good and my favorite was... vegge tacos amongst chicken fajita, chicken jinga, shrimp , vegge enchiladas that was ordered by our large group. The dine inservice was prompt and good. Read more
I had a great meal here. They bring chips and salsa to start- big yum! I then had the veggie street tacos as a main since I am a... vegetarian. There is only one other vegetarian entree option on the menu, so it would be nice to have a third option. However, Ican't complain too much as the veggie tacos were absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh. I also had the La Sandiamargarita which I found to be refreshing and the perfect pairing with the tacos. I will certainly be back. Read more
So I had high hopes for this place! Immediately though, our server was really nonchalant and improper. whether it be from... pushing my brothers phone to its fall or being rude during the ordering process. It was difficult getting our order across - andhe wasn’t very nice as I asked him a question. Good speed for food but disappointing result. You’ll see under the avocadoon the veggie fajitas, the veggies were slimy and emulsified - not too enticing. The chicken fajitas were reaaally oily,included a picture of the pool of oil. Also it’s not sour cream, it’s a sour crema, thin liquid - not your traditionalfajitas. I also asked for lime rice and I wasn’t brought that either! The server looked annoyed and I try to always give themextra kindness & patience but he had none for me. Nice atmosphere. Low lighting, and quiet place to go and have a relaxing margarita for happy hour. Ordered some tacos that were... delicious. Bartender Pearl was accommodating and welcoming. Will be back again soon. Read more

Excellent location inside the mall. The hanger steak tacos were flavorful and a good option if you want a quick bite. It was... filling and didn’t feel too heavy after. The Volcano Molcajete is said to be a meal for two people, but it’s so much thatyou can share it between 3 people. Everything that it came with, complimented each other, and everything was tasty.
