We came here for a weekend lunch, and there were plenty of seats available. The garlic naan was very crispy and also soft at the... same time - highly recommend. The palak panner, chili chicken and korma chicken were also delicious. The environment and servicewere just okay - they served our korma dish with the sauce running out of the pot a bit. If you are looking for Indian cuisine in McLean Virginia this is a small Indian restaurant with good food.. it has out door... dining plus free parking too unlike the regular restaurants in Washington DC..not that expensive too for an Indianrestaurant..minimalist interiors nothing soo fancy but fulfills the purpose of good Indian dining!! I mainly go to MIC for their lunch buffet appreciating the generous selection of dishes. I especially enjoy that MIC spices... their recipes true to Indian food culture at the higher Scoville scale. They do not tone down spicing pandering to americantaste for bland food. For example MIC Spicy Chic Peas are terrific,seasoned with cumin, coriander, cayenne and tamarind. Thebuffet is well managed. MIC staff keep dishes on the buffet fresh and neatly presented. I have dined here for dinner from themenu that is also high quality. Service is good. Overall it is a pleasure dining here. Read more

Delicious food. Good service as well. A little pricier than usual but the volume per serving is quite a lot.

Wow great quantity on the appetizers though we should have known the chicken appetizer was a cold one. They give the House... Complementary snacks with three dips. The lamb appetizer was tasty. Very crowded and the quantity of entree is decent. I didnot like their achari Bhindi. The taste was okay but what made it not that great was the choice of okra, some were very fibrousand some were tender. Their tandoori salmon was tasty. Read more

My Indian coworker said this place is not authentic Indian food BUT my friends and I love all the food here. We got both curry... and grill. My bf just loves the butter chicken at this place, very creamy and chicken is tender. We reserved a table because wehad a bigger group, the restaurant was pretty full on the Friday night we went. Service was awesome, everyone was friendly. Besure to get a Taj Mahal beer to go with your curry. :) Read more
