Much smaller space and menu than the old location, but a sign of the times. Great for takeout, but not a lot of seating. Has a... diner atmosphere. Italian staples are good. Read more

The food was amazing, the dinning room is small and like a dinner, but the food like a great NYC hole in the wall gem. Loved... the steak. Read more

Tucked away for a wonderful Italian experience!! The food was amazing! Got the Tuscan Style Chicken & Ravioli Marinara. Sauce on... the chicken was delicious. Service is fantastic. Although dining is a little tight it just makes for a cozier experience. Fivestars for Pulcinella! I can't wait until I'm back in town to go back! Read more

Wonderful food and service. I would certainly recommend and would return. It would be great if they also had some vino.

I think some of these reviews are from the original restaurant, which we loved and took family and guest to for... years? Something strange happened to that one and we were never clear what. We showed up at the Old Dominion location beforethe pandemic, and the restaurant was in the process of being dismantled. We saw many of the old staff who appeared veryuncomfortable. A woman who seemed to be an owner kept stopping at our table and pumping up the food, which was a far cry of theolder days. It was not good. Last night, we drove over from MD to this new location and we were extremely disappointed. Sometype of cooking oil permeated the dishes - not olive oil. Renato’s in Potomac has better Veal Marsala and my spaghettibolognese was over cooked. No wine or beer! Read more

My wife and I decided to eat at Pulcinella this evening. We were impressed! Hidden gem that moved to a new location. We... ordered the arugula and burrata salads. They were delicious and the burrata definitely had a bit more of a tastyadvantage. For our main course, my wife got the seafood and pasta dish with red sauce and I ordered the brazino. Both disheswere perfectly prepared and light on the sauces. Highly recommend the fiesta del mar, chef's own recipe! We ordered thecheesecake to go and looking forward to eating it shortly. We definitely plan on returning soon! Read more

This restaurant know how to make my day. Thank you Chef and the crew. Can’t wait to see you next week. You never let me... down! * * * * We could not stay away so we returned yesterday, even though we had Italian food the day before. Our server, AJ,was superb. Our soups and entrees were nice and piping hot. The flavors were incredible. So far, you can taste every dish’sunique flavors. The kitchen here does not mess around. AND, the tiramisu was to die for. I was speechless. We will be backsoon. * * * * A breath of fresh air. Nothing has changed in McLean in the last 40 year but it looks like things are headedtowards a new direction. Pulcinella has given me a reason to come back to McLean. From what I understand, the current newlocation is smaller than its original location but the food is fantastic. My appetizers of clam chowder soup and mussels inmarinara sauce were served piping hot and succulent. The salsiccia pizza (tomato sauce, mozzarella, beef sausage, beefpepperoni) was delicious. The pizza dough was perfectly executed, a nice golden brown. In all my years of dining on Italiancuisine I have never had the linguini agnello, marinated lamb in balsamic, pesto, and light tomato sauce. It was unbelievable. The flavors were absolutely amazing! The chef and his team are top notch. Upon entering the restaurant, the young man and younglady were very welcoming and attentive. We look forward to returning. Read more
