We set a reservation for a party of 6 and specifically asked for separate checks. The food itself was average, the steak was... good, but the fries were badly made. The steak tartare is not a steak tartare, but chunks of meat, good meat, but not in anysense a steak tartare. Our waitress Monia was very good and professional. I can't say the same about the manager Nick. As Isaid we had asked in the reservation separate checks, but the restaurant does not do that. They have a stupid policy about thataccording to the manager, even so when I asked for a solution he suggested that I could use the calculator on my cell phone, once this was our problem. What a shame for a manager. For a restaurant that shows itself as a high end with a high price, itshows itself as a low quality management and hardly high end food. Read more

Can never say enough good about this place for lunch. We had the Blackened Steak Salad, which was cooked to perfection. The... raisin bread they sever just before meals is excellent. Waiters are so attentive. Atmosphere is great. Price was very reasonablefor a Steakhouse. Checks all the boxes. Read more

So my wife and I visited The Palm for our anniversary. Needless to say for the money that I paid was disappointed. I will start... with what was good. The complimentary valet parking, the jumbo shrimp cocktail and the raisin bread. Everything else was notworth the cost. The salad was just ok! The steak that I had was burnt on the top and my wife's steak which was supposed to bemedium and looked less cooked than mine. The broccoli raab was not good at all. The 3 cheese potato au gratin was basicallybland even though it was supposed to be 3 cheeses. The top it all off our waiter was let's say different. He actually reachedacross my wife's plate while she was eating to give her a soda and he actually came to our table an was coughing. I wish ourexperience was better. I expected that the food and service was going to be great but it was fair/poor! Read more

I made a reservation for my girlfriend 21st birthday. When arrived i was greeted nicely with my guest but when seated we had a... half drunken glass of wine sitting at the table and wasn't given the menu after 5 minutes or even asked for water. Later askedto move to a booth and was finally greeted after about 10 minutes by the server. I then ordered the tomahawk steak with alobster tail but the steak was not even cooked just seared and was told the kitchen had closed. I felt uncomfortable with theservice and steak. I was informed the chef was a bit mad because my steak was undercooked and i payed over $700 and was giventhis type of service and food .what a joke I'm highly disappointed Read more

My husband took me to the Palm for my birthday. We spent way too much money, but we don't regret it all for the experience! For... an appetizer, the waitress recommended the shrimp bruno, which was pretty good but nothing too spectacular. The shrimp waslightly fried perfectly and had a light drizzle of sauce, but I wish there was more of that. They had a good selection ofbourbon, considering it's slim pickings these days and the rosé by the glass was good. For dinner, I ordered the 3lb lobsterwith a crab stuffing. It was delicious and there was a lot of meat, but I couldn't finish it all. The only thing I didn't likewas the amount of char on some parts of the lobster because the taste was pretty overpowering, but that was only on a few spots,so not worth complaining about. My husband ordered a steak and added a lobster tail, which was a pretty big tail. His steak wascooked how he requested, but he said it wasn't anything special and, unfortunately, he could probably get a better steakelsewhere for less money.. We also ordered the garlic mashed potatoes (yum) and black truffle gnocchi (double yum). The waitressgifted us a dessert for my birthday. We got the key lime pie with blueberry (delicious!)! If there's another time where we wantto treat ourselves to a pricey dinner, we'd definitely consider the Palm. Read more

Celebrating our 6th Anniversary dinner @ the Palm in Tyson’s Corner on 12 June 21 and dinner was good. They wishes us a Happy... anniversary when we arrived but another restaurant with the initials of RC has better presentation and well wishes. Due to theCommonwealth (finally) opening to full capacity recently, it was nice to see that the restaurant was busy though the appetizerswere limited and there were not any soups offered. I requested a well manner, extra dirty martini, straight up with Tito’s andyou can see the martini was not “dirty enough from the “lack of” brine and there was not any blue stuffed olives in thedrink. That is the best part! The steak tartare that I ordered needed some salt…maybe some French Maldon sea salt to elevateit a tad. The three cheese potatoes au gratin were decadent. We also picked out a bottle of white French wine to accompanydinner but our server came back to unfortunately inform us that they were out fo stock so we settled for a Spanish white wineinstead. Not pictured is the salad my husband had for an appetizer, the leaf spinach side that was aglio e olio, his portion ofthe 3lb lobster (that we shared) and his slice of cheesecake. One of the servers was kind enough to break the claws for us, thusthe lobster photo is not the best photo. We previously had been frequent diners at the Palm over the years and I am blamingCovid for the Palm not being as top notch as it used to be since the staff was stretched thin and the overall atmosphere wasloud due to the high ceiling in the dining room. We will try it again once normalcy returns to the area. Thank you. Read more
