This was my first trip to the Willamette wine region. I came here upon a recommendation from Wine Folly and was not... disappointed. Our server Lex was outstanding in her knowledge as well as her friendly and warm personality. Such a cozy room,and the wines were fantastic. One of my ALL TIME favorite tasting rooms! We visited years ago and I've been dreaming about it ever since... so while visiting... in laws in Portland and taking the kids to the Wings and Waves Waterpark... I found a way to break away for a tiny bit to do atasting at R Stuart & Company Winery, and I'm SO glad I did! Our poorer was amazing and I could have sat in there talking wineall day (and know I'm lame...)!!! The wine is SO good. The only downside is that the bottle if you're not a wine club member(which too pricy in its own right) are very expensive, so you can't walk out of there with everything you'd want. But thetasting experience is divine. They had some really interesting ones this time and I'm sure that changes every time you do. Ifyou're anywhere near the area - check them out! Read more

R Stuart Winery is one of the best wineries in the valley that just happens to couple with best value wines as well. Their... single vineyard wines are just as good, if not better, than the majority of wines offered in the area and at a fraction of thecost. They have some other lines such as Love, Oregon and Big Fire that are more valued priced but dont let these blends foolyou on quality. Once you try these wines, you'll understand why and if that doesn't hook you, the staff and the Stuart familywill. Just amazingly warm, kind, and great people...Cheers! Read more
