We're new to the area, so this was our first time here, but definitely not the last! The food was delicious, and the service was... excellent. I was impressed that the servers helped each other by bringing things out and by busing each other's tables as wecleared plates. The three of us had the BLT, the catfish, and a Cuban sandwich. All of us were very happy with our choices. Thesquash casserole and the corn bread salad were both tasty. Oh, and we had fried pickles and deluxe nachos for appetizers, whichwere also very good. (Yes, we took a bunch leftovers home! lol) The Moon Pie at the end was a tasty surprise. I haven't had oneof those in years! Read more
Definitely recommend everyone to eat here! You won't regret it! A family ran restaurant with very good food and service! The... ribs were 'the best' we've ever had! Excellent food and atmosphere! I had the Bbq wrap with baked beans, coke slaw and pickles with fries. Had the brisket wrap with... Buffalo sauce. And a side of Gouda Mac and cheese. This was a great find. All of the staff were so friendly & super attentive. It was a hard decision bc so many things sounded... good but we decided on the pulled pork sandwich & the 1/2 rack ribs & weren't disappointed. Everything was fresh & yummy &looked nice on the plate. The sides were equally good: baked beans, loaded potato salad, gouda Mac n cheese, cornbread salad.Every table was full & as we were finishing there were people waiting for tables. Cute place. This review is a bit delayed but I wanted to share the overwhelmingly positive experience I had with the staff and management of... Collins River BBQ. My husband and I got married in October '21 at a summer camp in McMinnville . Collins River came very highlyrecommended by the property as a potential caterer for the event. My husband and I went in for dinner and were immediatelyimpressed by the kindness and generosity of Jim who is the GM, as well as the quality of the food and the hustle of the entirestaff. This is a busy restaurant and despite the volume of customers, each table was attended to with warmth and care. Weimmediately chose them as the primary caterer and over the course of the months that followed, this team went above and beyondour expectations and contributed much more than delicious food (the brisket is incredible!) to our party. Not only did theyscope the project, prepare and deliver delicious food, but they also supplied staff to serve and bartend the event. They were sogracious to our guests in the process! We never could have pulled it off without you guys and we so appreciate the level ofservice this group brings to the hospitality industry. Wow! I use to have a favorite BBQ spot and it wasn?t even in this state, until I came to Collins. Ribs fall off the bone... delicious, BBQ sauce was top tier. Chicken wing were some of the best I?ve had, and I cook a mean wing. The Catfish was thebombdotcom. The sides were amazing too! Everything was cooked perfectly. Lots of options for three picky boys. Great local place with great BBQ options. It was very busy when we went and they still got... our food out in a timely manner. I highly recommend the fresh pork rinds. They are the best! Read more
