This place is amazing! We sat outside and enjoyed the afternoon sun , the patio is full of beautiful flowers. All of that AND... one of the best salads I've had. My husband and I stopped here with our two small children on a whim when the restaurant we wanted to celebrate my birthday at... was closed. This restaurant was new to us and well over an hour from where we live. The almost 5 star reviews, the food photos,and the menu with a wide array of ethnic food won us over. This was the best choice and I?m happy the day worked out this way sowe tried something new. We weren?t sure where the restaurant was located, as we followed Google maps so we walked around thebuilding it?s in and finally saw the entrance at the back of the building. You are able to access the restaurant through themarket as well. There was metered parking all around the building. Parking was $.50 for 2 hours. The environment was prettylaid back, you order at the counter using menus that are located to the left table near the ordering station. The seating islimited, there were two table (one large and one small), two tall tables with barstools, and a couch. There was outdoor seatingas well to accommodate more people when the weather is nice. They offer some bottled and can sodas and kombucha on tap (therewere 2 flavors). They allowed me to sample one before committing to a flavor, which is so helpful! My husband and I couldn?tdecide on just one meal each so we ordered 5 different meals to sample and share. It was such a great decision. All our mealstotaled $72, which isn?t a bad price. The meals were reasonably priced, full of flavor, and a nicely sized portion. I wanted totry their soup and their house made kimchi, but they were out of both. We ordered the street beef #1 bowl and the cashewpineapple chicken bowl - both recommended by the employee. We also ordered the lions mane crab cakes, truffle cheesesteak sammy,and the steak lion bowls. My top two favorites were the crab cakes and the cashew pineapple bowl. Delicious food! We had the falafel sandwich and Amazonian bowl (sub tofu for chorizo). The bowl was a 100/100 in terms of... flavor. For the falafel sandwich, they were out of pita bread and subbed it for a baguette, which made the overall sandwich alil bit on the drier and tougher side, but the flavors were delicious! Read more
Second year of coming up to Meadville for my son?s Allegheny football games and always look for a new restaurant to dine in... after the game. The Kettle Lake Kitchen is a hidden gem! By far the best food I have had in Meadville. They offer an assortmentof bowls and sandwiches ? many of which have an Asian flare to them. No fancy ambience but instead kind of a cool and funkyvibe. Excellent food!!! There were three of us and we all ordered different dishes and sides and all three of us loved our food! Love... all the gluten free and healthy options on the menu!
