Changing my review. Used to be our go to for Chinese. Grabbed a lunch combo today. Rice has no flavour and is a WEIRD shade of... yellow. Just rice and peas. Nothing else. S and S chiken was chewy and watery. What has happened here!?! Reading all thenewest reviews I see that somthing has changed here and gone down hill. Disappointing. I am changing my review from a year ago since my recent experience has not been good. Drove 20 minutes into town to place my... order which was a C4 and C5 both including sweet and sour pork and/or chicken. I also ordered a red shrimp curry. When I pickedup my order I checked the receipt and confirmed what I'd ordered with the person on cash. After being told all was there I drovehome only to find that there was no sweet and sour sauce for two of the meals and the curry sauce was very runny and thin,unlike usual. I tried to call several times to let them know the error but nobody answered. I then called from my Husband'sphone and they picked up right away. Obviously they knew why I was calling from my number. After a lengthy conversation theyoffered us 10% off a future order meanwhile two of our meals were missing the main component of the meal which rendered themunedible. We asked for the sauce to be delivered to our house and were told they have no drivers. They did offer a replacementcurry with our next order but refused to replace the other meals. This is totally unacceptable since the error was clearlytheirs and we are frequent customers. We will not be back! Read more
DISAPPOINTING MEALS BUT FAST SERVICE. Our family ordered 3 takeout dinners (Red Shrimp curry , C4 and a C5) The curry was watery... and tasteless, the C4 and C5 were missing an important component that being the S & S sauce. The C4 chicken and pork wasundercooked and not edible. A waste of $50. We?ve ordered from QQ?s quite often and have not had very good luck with our ordersfrom them. The person who answered the phone was unconcerned about the poor service and initially offered 10% on our next order.(Laughable really) To top it off he wanted us to bring the food in so they could confirm it was missing the sauce. Downhill slide. Ordered the signature dish, sesame chicken. It was inedible. Tough, impossible to chew and no flavor. Went back... to complain and was not given even an apology. Staff turned away to cash register and left me standing and just ignored me. Beena customer for years. Too bad as I want to support local business but not this one. Read more
Ordered chicken chowmein and 1 order of ribs, over the phone, for pickup, First red flag, im told 10 minutes for my food. Now... that im finally home after working all day in the heat i get to sit and enjoy THE FAT COVERED GRIZZLE Which is not the spareribs i ordered. QQ does not deserve 1 star for the disgusting dish they attempt to call beef spare ribs. Great and authentic Chinese/Thai food. The pad Thai here is on point, including all the key features of the sweet salty and... sourness that is required to make pad Thai. For the rest of the Chinese dishes, they are all made with seemingly great qualityingredients, with very fair portions. One order from any part of the menu is surely enough to be filling. I highly recommendedany one to try this place out. You cannot go wrong with any of the food here, comparable to Toronto/GTA Chinese food. The staffhere are also very nice, patient and will answer any questions in regards to the food. They also have vegan and gluten freeoptions for those who need it. Delivery from here is also on point as the food always arrives hot. They also deliver straightto the tent lines of CFB Meaford for those who are there. All in all highly recommended for sure.
