We went there on 26th of October , 2022. We had chicken tandoori with Naan and one goat/mutton biriyani. The chicken tandoori... was average. I would probably rate it 3/5 compared to other chicken tandooris I had from nearby Indian restaurants. The largerthe chicken the less tasty it gets. The chicken pieces were too large and may be that?s why the spices didn?t go that deepinside the pieces. Hence, the taste was more on the outside crust and inside it was not that moist and spiced. If I talk aboutthe goat/mutton biriyani, i would probably rate is 3.5/5 according to my way of tasting biriyani. Because I personally likebiriyani that is not so moist. The biriyani rice was moist with all the spices. However, I have had biriyani before from thisrestaurant that was not that moist rather plain. The service was really good. The ambiance was cozy. Prices seemed a little bitoverpriced compared to other restaurants. Even though I rated tandoori 3/5 and goat biriyani 3.5/5 , overall, I would rate the4/5. Because those ratings were according to my taste?s expectations which, I believe, would differ from person to person. In anutshell, We enjoyed the evening at Banana leaf. Read more

Location is good , accessible and it has its own parking spot. We went as 12 people group , placed an order for dine in 10 min... before Arrival. Food was perfectly made according to our spicy levels. Serving was fast , staffs are friendly. One who attendedwas very nice person with smile in his face and kept us enjoy the food. 1 star is reduced for minor corrections needed on fewplace/items. Overall food / dining experience was good and great. 1. We ordered boneless chicken biriyani(it has chicken breastpieces and was tasteless) and also biriyani tasted ok but not great. 2. Mutton biriyani tasted good and it is regional taste.(nocomplain and we enjoyed the biriyani) 3. Button /garlic naan was fresh / tasted very good . 4. Pomfret fry , chicken makhani ,chicken 555, samosa chat , mango lassi tasted good. Read more

After a full day of adventure we decided to treat ourselves with some Indian food. And I'd say Banana Leaf didn't disappoint us.... Food was delicious, it had a nice presentation, prepared exactly according to our spice level needs. We loved the Onion RawaMasala Dosa. It was huge, delicious and prepared with perfection. Suggstion for the owner : When you prepare hakka noodles, please ask whether someone likes ketchup with it or not. As you sautéed the noodles with ketchup, it was too sweet for me. Read more

Was the first time visiting this restaurant, loved the food. The food is really tasty and serving was also quick. We ordered... cut-mirchi, veg-kofta, chilli-garlic naan. We opted for spicy level medium, the food had good spicy flavour. Definitely wouldlike to recommend. The only thing, inside space is a bit small. Read more

We got the vegetarian biryani and the paneer tikka masala. Both tasted excellent and had good portions. The service is really... attentive. They have lots of options for vegan, gluten free, and Jain. They will adjust the spiciness to your taste. I orderedthe mild, which still had a little pepper in it but it wasn't exactly burning my mouth. I'm not sure if there's a no pepperoption that I should've ordered instead. Definitely in my top 5 Indian restaurants, and I've been to a lot of Indian restaurants Read more

We drove all the way from State College to Harrisburg just to eat at this place. I had high expectations as my son wanted to eat... here. The place is quiet unassuming and small with around 10-12 tables. The interior is a simple setup. No alcohol is servedhere but the place is marked as BYOB (Bring your own bottle). I ordered the Vegetable pakodas (onions dipped in flour and deepfried) and Goat Kadai. The Kadai was flavorful though a bit too spicy for me - even though I had asked for medium spice. My sontried their Masala Dosa. Unlike traditional dosas that are usually snack size, this was a large size that can be considered afull meal. Overall, I enjoyed the food. Read more
