I absolutely love this restaurant. I've been coming here for years. I started when I still lived in the area and they were... located further down the pike. It's hands down my favorite Thai restaurant and I always make a point to come here when I'mvisiting family. I've lived in 4 different states in the past decade and tried numerous Thai restaurants in every location,nothing compares to Chalit's. Their ingredients are always very fresh, the sauces are flavorful, and the price isn't badconsidering the quality. Food was exceptional...service could have been better; but after some investigating and our party realized that there are only 3... people working this restaurant. 1 hostess, 1 server, and 1 chef. To continue to push themselves with both dine in and carry outorders, I had to go ahead and give them the 5 stars! At the end, we shared just give folks a heads up about being short staffed,we all understand. They had it written behind the specials sign, but flipped it, because servers can tell you the special.Overall, it is an awesome environment, food is magnificent, and I'll be back. Thank you! Excellent food. The staff was very friendly. Portions were excellent size for the price. For example I got the combination... platter for $18. Comes with fried rice and tons of meat. Most of the time you get one piece of meat with other restaurants I'vebeen to, but I got 4 shrimp in my platter in addition to the other things. So that was great. They of course also had greatvegetarian options as well, my wife got the pad Thai. It was great as well. Highly recommend! Read more
Great lunch option with delightful food and very good service. Visited during a business lunch, and although there was a sign... at the entrance stating to please be patient with the staff as they were short-handed, our server Brianna was very attentive andfriendly, and we did not have to wait long for our orders. I had the Thai wonton soup to start and finished with the Singaporenoodles for my entree, and both dishes were very good. Will definitely return on my next business trip to the area. Read more
Excellent food and atmosphere. The restaurant was very busy by the time we left and even with all the guests and having about 3... waitresses, the service and food was excellent. I wouldn?t have even known anything was different without the sign by the door.If you go, my only suggestion would be to listen to the recommendations on the heat of your dishes ? ours were perfect. Excellent, delicious and fresh. I've tried lots of Thai restaurants and this one is on my favorites list now. It's hard to find... a place that nails the flavors right and they did it perfectly here. Interior was cozy and staff was all very friendly. Highlyreccomend you give it a try. Read more
