Very good BBQ place! Highly recommend for anyone that is a big BBQ fan. I loved the brisket specifically the best. The ribs were... also as close to "fall off the bone" as I've ever come to with ribs that weren't my mother's. Just saying, whatever they aredoing with their meat is top notch!! This restaurant is amazing! The staff all welcomed us when we walked in. Our food was fresh, hot, prepared properly, and... delicious. I didn't even need to request that anyone change their gloves they just did it (I'm very allergic to dairy). Everyone was friendly, everything was stocked, the tables were all very clean, and the food was amazing. I have nothing bad to sayabout this restaurant. Highly highly recommend! Read more
I've been itching to try out this BBQ joint for a while and today I finally got my wish. I ordered the 1 Meat Plate (pulled... pork) with Fried Okra and Baked Potato Casserole as sides. My son got his Sunday kids meal for free which made me a very happycamper. I mean a Beef Brisket Hoagie with Waffle Iron Fries + Drink for free -- that's a great value. Imagine if I had 4 kids! I picked spicy BBQ sauce and he picked sweet BBQ sauce. I loved the spicy sauce -- just the right heat and the right kick. This was also the first time ever that I tried fried okra. The texture that it added to the meat was, quoting another reviewer,"out of this world", reminding me of trying out the New Orleans Gumbo for the first time. Oh, here's icing on the cake: everyone got to help himself with a free soft serve ice cream!! One word of caution: I came in at off-peak hour (2:45 pm on aSaturday). I had just one person in front of me. But quickly as I went though with my order, the line suddenly piled up. Theassembly line could break down if just one side dish (in this case, my son's Waffle Iron Fries) is in shortage. I could easilyimagine how the order line could go out of control during peak hours. Just when you order a 3 Meat Plate you can expect a 3 meat plate... and not a plate that?s actually more a 2 meat plate when you double order one meat.
