Best Sushi Ever!! We had shrimp noodles and a variety of sushi, both cooked and raw. You can tell that the ingredients used were... very fresh and of the highest quality! We had a kind and polite waiter. The atmosphere was peaceful and the entire restaurantwas exceptionally clean! I can't wait to eat here again! *Update* In for lunch. Our party ordered about 12 orders of sushi! Itcame out very quickly and all of the ingredients were very fresh!! If you like sushi, you HAVE to try this place. Many great sushi... rolls to choose from and some great food comes out of the kitchen as well. The fried rices , and the fried cheesecake aredevine. Kanagawa is a “must visit” destination. Hands down the most delectable sushi I’ve ever had. Beautifully prepared,... artfully presented and so fresh. Excellent sushi! We tried a few different rolls in addition to a chef's choice nigiri entree. Our waiter was also very friendly... and attentive despite having to cover all the tables on his own. We look forward to visiting again soon. Read more
This place is 500 stars out of 10. Went for lunch with my parents who were in from out of town and loved the menu selection. My... grandmother is Japanese and this place rivaled some of her dishes (although I would never tell her that ????). They had a ton ofvegan options which my mom appreciated and THE BEST GINGER DRESSING I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Like seriously go just to trythe salad. It's made there and is beyond amazing. Had an amazing time at Kanagawa last evening for some delicious sushi with a couple of friends. The staff was super nice and... attentive. They have such a great selection of sushi and other Japanese cuisines. Some of the sushi roll combinations wereunique and quite delectable. They also have your standard rolls as well. They were carefully prepared and very nicely plated. Itis a BYOB restaurant and they will gladly provide you glasses and an ice bucket. Beautiful dining room and great ambiance. Ithink the only thing that would make it a bit better would be some music softly playing in the background. They also have abeautiful bar area that you can sit at and watch the sushi being prepared. I know I want to sit there next time! They also havea small parking lot in the back of the building off Lamont Ave. I will definitely be back. Great value for the price!
