METRO DINER, at 5600 CARLISLE PIKE, MECHANICSBURG, PA 17050, was something to talk about after I left! I ordered FRIED CHICKEN... & WAFFLES, 2 SCRAMBLED EGGS with CHUNKS of STEAK, a WAFFLE SUNDAE (strawberries/chocolate chips/cream/chocolate syrup andbananas on top of waffles...simply delicious)! To add to my sweet tooth, I also ordered 1 'BIG' slice of CHOCOLATE CAKE ????.The food was 'over-the-top' delicious! The DINER was clean. The restroom was clean, and the waitresses were very KIND andPROFESSIONAL...what more could I ask for...a magic pair of shoes, that will take me back to enjoy delicious food all overagain! Metro Diner is AMAZING! Best Fried Chicken and Waffles EVER! We eat here often and I always get the Fried Chicken...my wife... loves the Turkey Dinner Platter. The desserts are delicious...one of the best Cobblers we've ever had, tonight was PeachCobbler. I had the Blueberry Lemon Bread Pudding and it was great.
