I came here for the first time for a birthday celebration. There were a variety of things ordered and I tried many of them other... than my order of the sushi and sashimi combo with a seaweed salad side. Everything that came on my plate was good and fresh, andeverything else that I tasted from other dishes were just as good. So disappointed. I?ve been a dedicated fan of Sapporo East for 20 years and have rarely if ever had a bad meal here. All I can... say is that Henry must be on vacation. I ordered coconut shrimp. Seriously overcooked and tough. Also ordered House specialroll. Avocado was over ripe and there was too much of it. Thick chunks. The salmon on top way over cooked and not good. Iordered w real crab and so paid a premium for this meal. Henry, where are you? I?ll come back but it better be the Sapporo Ilove and expect. Read more

Pretty small cozy restaurant, very busy when we were there. Tried the sushi boat for 2 and boyfriends parents got shrimp... teriyaki and a salmon teriyaki (didn?t want to be rude so no pictures of their meals) both said it was good, the shrimp pieceswere fairly large. We rated the sushi boat a 3 out of five. We were hoping to substitute more sushi pieces of our choice thanthe sashimi. The sashimi pieces were pretty thick. Wasn?t too bad overall Read more
Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Group had teriyaki dinner or hibachi or sushi. It was all enjoyable. Picture is of the Fire... roll and Sapporo roll. This was our first visit and we would definitely return and recommend. Read more

Sapporo East is a cute and cozy sushi/hibachi restaurant. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming and make you feel at... home. The place is clean and the good smells great upon entering. Be sure to check out their special rolls on the boards behindthe sushi chefs! I went for one of the specials called Black Pearl and a regular spicy tuna roll. The Black Pearl was deliciouswith a fried scallop inside, black pepper tuna on the outside and topped with two delicious sauces including a homemade scallionsauce. The iced green tea is also delicious!! Overall a great place to meet up with friends for some delicious sushi! Read more
