I got takeout and got items off the a la carte menu. Which was the unagi, and yellow tail Hamachi. I also got the salmon Maki... roll. Everything was very fresh, no fishy smell or taste whatsoever. The fish/eel was was tender. For what I got price wise itwas not bad at all($23.50) the takeout order was packed very well, no spillage or anything. Great little spot for sushi and Japanese fare in Mechanicsville. Food is fresh and they sometimes have unique items like sea... urchin which are subject to availability. Kitchen entrees are also very good, highly recommend the hibachi dishes if you havethat craving and don?t feel like going to a dinner show. I got a few specialty rolls, they were good, along with the Sashimi tuna. But the tempura was soft and mushy, not crunchy at... all. I couldn't eat it, had to throw it away. I do not recommend the tempura. I'll eat there again but I'll be more carefulof what I order. Read more
