You cannot go wrong dining at a Cracker Barrel. With their extensive menu items, everyone should be able to get something they... like. We all ordered Grandpa's Breakfast, which came with two eggs, your choice of bacon or sausage, your choice of grits,hashbrown casserole or baked apples and sawmill gravy and biscuits. We had a 30 minute for wait for a table on a Sunday morning. Once seated we gave our waitress our drink and food order. Never... saw her again.. After over an hour wait we asked another waitress to find her. Everyone around had gotten their food and wasleaving. Someone else came and brought more coffee. Finally I talked to manager, they lost our order. While he was explainingthat our waitress showed up to give us our bill. Did she not notice we had not gotten any food. Manager told her no, but weoffered to pay for our coffee. We were not charged. We were there for almost 2 hours from the time we walked in. We left withno breakfast. Won't go back for a long while. My family and I enjoyed our brunch at Cracker Barrel. Our waitress Ms.Shae was friendly, helpful, and an excellent part of our... brunch experience. The food was yummy per usual, busy however the ambiance was nice. Enjoyed the fireplace and the lamps on ourtable. This is a great place for an inexpensive meal that manages to be just wonderful for a decent price. You know what to expect... here. Comfort food.
