My wife and I have now dined here 3 times in the past couple months. Asian food is very good and consistent. We've ordered the... sushi sampler plate with the 3 sushi options from the appetizer menu which is pretty tasty. Pictured are the two chicken menuitems we each ordered which were very good. Update 10/11 - super simple but still annoying, my first visit back since previously disappointment and this time they missed... adding a white rice to my meal.. Again, not a huge deal, but disappointing considering this is the 2nd issue within 2visits… Let me start by saying, we love ginger reds food, the quality is top notch, and the service is great! But it isglaringly clear they are being a bit conservative on their portions.. This is the General Tsos shrimp with white rice for$15.25.. For $15, I get 7 pieces of breaded shrimp??? I know inflation and supply is impacted businesses hard, but as a customerthat continues to support the business, I would expect the portions to be a bit more hearty!! I ordered something different this time and was not impressed with my Szechuan chicken. When I order this dish elsewhere, it has... lots of shredded carrots along with shredded celery and white meat chicken. This dish had 3 little pieces of carrots plus otheringredients. The chicken was not shredded and was in hunks, It looked more like thigh meat possibly, not at all what I think ofas white, and shredded. I will not order this again at Ginger Red. My husband had Pad Thai combo, it had a few different meats.He was happy with his but preferred having just chicken in it. We ordered some pot stickers too. We didn't care for them as theyseemed gooey and undercooked, however the sauce for them was good. All this being said, I have had dishes I thought were verygood and this restaurant has very good ratings. I got Hawaiian seafood fried rice and it was to die for, hubby got his stand by dish Pad Thai and it never disappoints, my two... older kids shared the deal -three sushi rolls for $20 and for dragon roll, vegetable roll and Cali roll. This place has an insane variety of dishes and they are all really great iterations of that dish. They do have your basic... Chinese food for picky eaters but also some really solid Thai dishes packed with flavor. Love the service as well. Read more

Yikes. I'm trying to find a way to explain this. I guess if you're a lady on a diet this is the place for you. If it's lunch... time and you need calories go someplace else. I ordered the lunch special and I'm still hungry as heck. I ordered the Szechuanbeef and I'm not exaggerating there were a few small slices of beef that I had to search for in a big pile of what I believewere vegetables but were not edible. Covered in some sauce. I think I saw some carrots. I'm not kidding I had to throw out 90percent of it. I just finished it and my stomach is still growling. I don't know if it was a mistake or if this is theirbusiness model. I went there for lunch, paid 9 bucks and basically I had no lunch. Went hungry all day. If you're cool with notgetting enough food and having a nice, small lunch I guess the food is tasty enough but if you're a hungry man you should gosomeplace else. I'm still, like, WOW. Read more

This is a nice place with many offerings. My server Beneree was charming, informative and helped me make good choices. Kicked... things off with a plate of Hot Dirty Fries. Yummy! From there I ordered 2 entrees, Butter Curry Fried Rice and Salt & PepperFried Tofu. The rice serving was Huge and flavorful with tender shrimp and a hint of curry, ended taking about 2/3’s home. Thetofu would benefit from cutting larger cubes, as the smallish ones were hard throughout. If you’re dipping your toes intoEthnic Cuisine, this is a good starting point. None of the flavors are too strong. If you’re looking for a bowl of Phö orsomething with true ethnic flavors, you’ll be disappointed. Read more
