THIS PLACE!!!!!! ???? If you thought the one in the city was good, you have no idea how good it can actually be. The fried green... tomatoes on my Southern Belle Pizza were perfectly fried and still crispy when we got home. They're usually too mushy and wiltedfrom the one in the city. Don't get me wrong, the one in the city is fantastic, this location just absolutely turns it up to11. The Brussels sprouts were gorgeous. Look at this work of art! They really took their time to make it look nice butefficiently took their time and paid attention to detail in a rapid manner because our food was ready in about ten minutes. Thebuffalo chicken wraps are not pictured because we ate them too fast. They were our favorite out of the three amazing dishes wegot. The young man at the front with the curly hair was so nice and polite and conversational. He was so pleasant. He lookedgenuinely happy to be there at work. I'd come back even if the food was bad just to get treated that nicely again. I did notget his name but the young man with reddish brown curly hair that looks like he should be on TV. That's not important to thereview but if his manager sees this, please know that he was excellent and I couldn't have asked for better service or betterfood quality. Let's be honest, Hanover isn't the best place for pizza and beer. It's not hard to be great at that in Hanover. That being said,... I really enjoyed my visits. Both times I sat outside and stayed for longer than an hour. We had apps, beers, and pizza and itwas all great. The service was quick and attentive. If you want a beer and a variety of food, granted it's all pizza and barfood, this is a great place to go. They have gluten free crust and dairy free cheese. They also have a great selection of beer. Boy did this place go south quick or what!?!? Is it under new management? Pizza was not near up to par. Brussels Sprouts were... well past Crispy. I really liked getting my check with 3/4 of a pizza left (that had so little cheese you could see the sauceand was more flimsy than an over-cooked lasagna noodle) and not getting asked if we'd like a refill on our empty drink cups...classic touch there. Don't worry about me driving the almost 2-hour round trip to dine here anytime soon. You people need to doa serious self-assessment on your service and food quality. We should have just left. My family was driving through Richmond and a colleague recommended Pizza & Beer of Richmond. It was a great recommendation. ... Excellent pizza and beer options; the name says it all! Really excellent flavor combos. Will definitely be back. Onlydownside on this first visit was being seated right under the outdoor speaker but at least the music wasn't obnoxious, justreally loud and too busy to move tables that evening. Read more

Came in by myself on a recent Wednesday evening. Was pleasantly surprised they had live entertainment. Plenty of draft craft... beer selections. My supreme pizza was superb with perfect crust and generous toppings. Read more

This place RULES! I could totally stop there but I have to tell you why. SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE: We were greeted with warm smiles... and kindness from the time we entered. The 80s playlist was right on time and I sang pretty much every song that came on ha! Thedecor is modern and the dining area is spacious. I really dig the open concept. There?s a bar area that has seating with TVs aswell. We sat near the patio which was kind of indoor and outdoor as there appeared to be a wall that?s open near the patio. Thepatio is nice and spacious with umbrella coverings on some of the tables. We had 2 servers; Jennifer and Kayla (sp?). Kayla wastraining and did a fantastic job. Jennifer was amazing! Super attentive, funny and friendly. Tranae the manager was a gem! (ifi?m butchering your name i?m sorry lol) FOOD: We started out with the spinach artichoke dip appetizer that?s served with brickoven oven bread. I tried not to fill up on the bread but it was so so good! I think Jennifer could tell how much I was enjoyingand sent some home with me lol. We settled on 1/2 Fatty Smokes which consists of: BBQ Sauce, Colby Jack Cheese, Smoked Brisket,Red Onion, Jalapeno. 1/2 Angry Bird which consists of: Buffalo Ranch, Mixed Cheese, Blue Cheese Crumbles, Nashville Style HotChicken Green Onion, Red Onion. I requested the blue cheese crumbles be on the side because I am not a fan lol but my boyfriendis. I wasn?t sure if I?d be into the craft pizza thing, but y?all?it was super delicious!!! I am indeed a fan and so is mypalate! BEER: Nice, cold and plenty to choose from. They let you sample as well. 2nd time here, nice stop on our trip from MD to NC. Fun, funky pizzas (got half Supreme and half Southern Belle today, kiddo got... the kid's pepperoni). Love the crispy brussel sprouts. Seems like it could be a busy after work hangout, so timeaccordingly. Our first time here back in June was a little better than today, but food was still good. We will be back. Read more
