I usually make everything from scratch. I ordered a dish that for the price could of fed four people. I have traveled all over,... 'Central America" and once stopped in a place by the side of a dirt road where a fire was cooking real food. Garden out back,chickens and pigs roaming too. People warm, welcoming and not in business like North Americans. A friend of mine brought me thedinner. The next day I made her the same thing, but better. We had lunch here and it was fabulous! Our server was attentive and pleasant. The food was really good, with flavors and recipes... unique to Comal. The verde sauce was especially unique and flavorful. They make their own chorizo and it is exceptional. Irecommend trying it with the street taco so you can get the full flavor without too much interference. The menu said that eachlocation has a unique menu so I'm looking forward to checking out both the Central Point and Phoenix locations in the nearfuture. Read more

I stopped in for lunch with my sweetie. We both ordered from the lunch special menu, which offered the usual lunch special... choices: tacos, enchiladas, tostada. I decided on the enchiladas with chicken, and she opted for the tostada. Both came outquickly and hot. I enjoyed the enchilada sauce, the chicken was so so but over all I was very pleased. We also noticed thedrink menu, which is massive! We'll be back for dinner one of these nights to give the regular menu try & have one of there manyto choose from margaritas! Read more
I have been to every Mexican restaurant in the Rogue Valley. COMAL BAR & GRILL. is the best restaurant to eat some fantastic... Mexican food. The food has flavor and the margarita's are to die for. Best in town I promise you. I gave them 5 stars. Theydeserve 100 stars. I highly! highly! recommend Comal Bar & Grill. Great food, drinks and atmosphere! We really enjoyed our night out. The service was wonderful, the food was AMAZING and the... drinks were fantastic. The queen flight of margaritas was so fun! Super tasty. My favorite dishes are the birria tacos and the bacon wrapped shrimp with pineapple.
