You know that place with the funny sign going down West main? Kind of nondescript if you're not paying attention. And you look... over and you see this line of cars waiting to get their food from G's Bento... That line of cars is not there because ofcovid... That line is there because the food is that good! The selection is limited, but that's not always a bad thing. Bento selection is chicken thigh, tri-tip, or both, with choices of... white/brown rice and mac/green salad. The bento flavors are on point (the chicken is particularly delicious) with your choiceof hot and/or sweet sauces, but the "green salad" this time was just shredded romaine. As other reviewers have pointed out,portions have decreased in size recently, which is often done in lieu of raising prices. Still, it's a reasonable portion for$8 and if you get there when there isn't a wait (sometimes the line will go into the street) you can get a quality meal in justa couple of minutes. Read more
Definitely has gone downhill over the last year. Portions have gone down on everything. I literally got 5 small pieces of... chicken.. it seemed like I ordered a bento of rice... Definitely will be looking for some place new. Read more
It clearly says that they open at 10 I have been here before at 10:10am and was able to get food. The food is pretty good the... meat is anyway, didn?t really care much for anything else in the plate though. Tried to get some food this morning it was 10:20and I was told there not open yet that it would be 10:30 if that is the case then there info needs to be updated before peopledrive all the way there jus to be told there not open yet so I don?t know if they open at 10 or 10:30 but being accurate withtimes of opening would help there business for sure. The meat was amazing! The macaroni salad was fantastic!... But the rice literally killed it, not in a good way. To make... everything else great then put it all on top of crunchy, dry and bland rice was a disappointment as over half the bowl is filledwith it. I had heard about this place by word of mouth and all the good things everyone had to say about it. I was lookingforward to a delicious meal and it was until I hit the rice. The steak was juicy, flavorful and was from a nicer cut then I wasexpecting. Between the wait time of over 15 minutes (there was one car in front of me when I pulled up), the price and the riceI will unfortunately not be returning. One of the best bento in town great portions and the teriyaki sauce is the bomb. Yum yum yum!!
