Lemongrass Thai restaurant has new owners. Don?t bother. As always I ordered the chicken satay, it used to be 9.99 it?s now... 15.99 and they weren?t even on skewers they were like chicken nuggets. I also ordered an order of cucumber salad and got thesmallest serving I?ve ever seen. I ordered the yellow chicken curry in the potatoes weren?t even cooked all the way through.Myself and my fellow nurses will never grace their door again. The food was mediocre (spice levels didn't match what we ordered), but the prices posted on the online menu DO NOT match what we... had to pay when picking up the food. We paid $12 for an order of egg rolls. A very unpleasant surprise. Read more
Lemon Grass Thai is a wonderful place to eat. However my favorite part about this place is how kind they are to our houseless... neighbors. While I was eating in here they gave a houseless man all of their cans for the week as well as a full meal - hedidn't even ask, she stopped him and offered him this. Got a Pad Thai for dinner. It was so delicious. I?d like to say, ?give it a try?.
Not bad! I got the egg rolls, shrimp pad thai and chicken with eggplant. Everything was delicious! The egg rolls were fresh and... filled with black fungus (kind of like a mushroom), bean threads (glass noodles) and veggies. It came with a hot and sour sauce.The pad thai had fresh shrimp in it and it was a large serving! I took off one star because the sauce wasn?t authentic. Theeggplant was fantastic - I really enjoyed the spicy sauce and fresh peppers. The last thing to note was the service. The staffgreeted me with big smiles and kindly offered me a glass of water while I waited for my order. I?ll have to try their lunchspecials some time! Read more
Our table ordered Phad Thai, Sweet n Sour chicken, Orange chicken and Tom Kha soup for lunch. Food was super tasty. Portions... were moderate and a bit smaller than usual on the soup. Only negative is if you substitute they charge extra even when it isonly a replacement to what would have been served. We asked for no mushrooms in the soup and to sub any vegetables, they saidthey could do that, but only for an extra charge. We made it clear just instead of mushrooms. She said, like cabbage? We said,sure, any vegetables you have handy. She said it will still be an extra charge. That's the type of thing that just doesn'tfeel good. Seems like an equal value thing, but, whatever. Good Thai food. I am extremely partial to the chicken spicy fried rice with extra jalapeno. I think the only way I could enjoy... it more would be if they incorporated Thai chili's into it. Read more
