My husband and I, as well as friends and family, have been going to “LC” for a decade now. It’s been one of our favorite... places. We always loved the bar in particular, which was friendly and warm with great bar pizza and great drinks. Lately the baris far from what it used to be. On our last trip (which happened to be my birthday) my husband and I were totally ignored by thebartender and the bar pizza was inedible. Not just bad but inedible. The crust was obviously frozen and the cheese was likebubble gum, which couldn’t be chewed and had to be spit out! Why? Just charge more and make a decent pie!! If one can’tenjoy the bar experience it’s not worth chancing a full meal again. Such a loss, shame. Read more
This a very quite and beautiful place. Prices are great for the portions of food.
Let me just start by saying from the second we walked in we felt extremely welcome here, as if we entered the home of a... relative. We were sat and treated to a free appetizer as it was our first time dining here. Every single thing we ordered fromapps to entrees to martinis were fantastic. Looking forward to our next visit. La Campagnola is one of the best dining experiences in southern NJ. I have never been dissatisfied by any option on the menu -... meaning I’ve had just about everything to choose from and left with a smile on my face. The staff is wonderful, every time.Live music on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday is quite the show. The dinner specials from Head Chef Michael are always worthtrying! i had a pretty good dinner service here with my family on 7/22/22! only con i would say was the band was so loud that i... seriously couldn’t talk/hear to my party sitting only a few feet from me. although, the food was great! our server was cool,although super busy and we barely saw him. i ordered the 6 oz Filet Mignon cooked Medium Rare with a ride of Roasted Vegetablesand Au Gratten. it was perfect and i couldn’t have asked for anything better! i also got a house salad with creamy italian.the dressing was obviously store bought and not made in the kitchen, and a few of the lettuce pieces were brown. iffy job on thesalad, but fabulous on the main meal! will certainly be attending again. good service! The staff is very friendly and quick on their feet to fill your drink and bring more bread if needed. The food is amazing and... plentiful. There is no way you can leave this place hungry. I highly recommend and will definitely be coming back Read more
Great romantic atmosphere and very delicious food. Pizza bread is the best. There is also bar and drinks available inside. If... you have a seat in the dining room, be carefull not to seat close to air conditioner went. For some reason it blows cold air into the tables. Personally I did not like that fealing. When it's worm there are seats outside, and that is a great place to be.I don't know what days there is a live music in the bar area. Read more
Went to celebrate my friends 50th! party of 11! Reservation at 7 and didn’t get meal til 930. They Claimed they were “short... staffed” they apologized profusely and we were gracious and understanding, however when we finally went to sing happy birthdaywith a cake we brought in they had the nerve to tell us there is a “cutting fee” I’m sorry you took over 2.5 hours toserve dinner and couldn’t throw in cutting our cake?!?!
