I have to say, everything was SO fresh and delicious!!! I had egg salad on white toast, butternut squash soup, and coleslaw.... Everything was outstanding! Homemade. I got a quart of soup to take home. It's been years that I've eaten here but I'lldefinitely return. Ambiance is kinda diner old but it adds to the charm. Read more

I wanted to love this place but is was just ok. I ordered a california omelet and chicken noodle soup (don't judge me-lol). I... liked the soup a lot and the fact that I could get a drink with hennessey. They have a nice happy hour special on drinks from4-6pm. Very limited selections on drinks but still things I like. My omelet was overdone and that is a point of angst for me. I hate burned eggs! My boyfriend got fried chicken, mushroom soup, and bread pudding. His chicken was overdone, and the breadpudding tasted like a dry cinnamon roll without the flavor. The mushroom soup was a rock star, delicious flavor, and creamy. The prices were decent ans the waiter was very nice and helpful. For the food, I am not sure I would recommend the diner. IfI were to go back, I would get drinks and soup. Read more
Cute, traditional diner feel. Staff is warm and welcoming with the exception of the hostess who seemed to be annoyed by... something. She just tossed the menus on the table and walked away. Food is the delicious comfort food that you remember fromchildhood. Read more
Was unsure what to expect from this place but save your time and money. Came here for a quick bite some morning breakfast...... felt like being different and trying some stuff we wouldn?t typically get. The chicken and waffles was horrid. The salmon andlox Benedict was edible but nothing amazing. Very disappointed. Only positive was the Halloween decor. Read more
First time I?ve ordered takeout breakfast and I just moved here from Manayunk after being in the city 14 years. Pull up, ample... parking. Server is friendly and holds door for me. Then answers my question about takeout. Friendly nice girl, maybe namedStella, greets me and just ask her about my takeout order. Got my food and went home. Meal was amazing. Gave me tons of butterand syrup and ketchup. The perfect amount. In times when I know service industry folks are pressed and busy, their friendlydemeanor and just ease made me feel like I had been there 100 times. I have my diner. Read more
