We went to La Padella for the first time yesterday afternoon for Happy Hour and it did not disappoint. The Penn Martini was... perfect and was only $6 during Happy Hour which is amazing. My husband & I were there for dinner Saturday evening. My husband had filet tips& shrimp, I had pork loin. Our meals were both... delicious. Portions were large & probably could have fed another person. We shared a caprese salad, which was more than enoughfor two. Excellent service but the worst Crab cake I've ever had. Was told by the host they use lime in their recipe? It was so bitter I... couldn't taste the Crab. Not going back. It was about 7:30 pm on a Saturday night and was mostly empty. Now I know why. Read more

Very good food and excellent service. For apps: We had the meatball and the fried Brussels sprouts. Both were very good. The... Brussels sprouts with pork belly were awesome. Crispy and flavorful. For entrees: I had the porch chop which was alright. It wasa good cut, but I wished it was seasoned a bit more. The potatoes were cooked very well, but the summer squash seemed to be toosoft. Still tasted good but not the consistency I was hoping. (My fault for not ordering pasta at an Italian place haha) othermembers all had pasta which was reportedly very good and cooked perfectly. The desserts all looked great, but the tiramisushined the brightest. It was firm and creamy as it should be instead of the soggy stuff most places serve.
