I have mixed feelings about this place, which is unfortunate because the food was very good, it's beautiful inside and out, and... the service was generally good. My issue was we just watched the waitstaff sing and celebrate a patron for their birthday. Iasked our waitress for the same thing for our friend, who we were there to celebrate. The waitress came back alone and quiet,with a candlelit dessert, and then we were charged for it. I have never seen someone get charged for a birthday dessert! Really great find. We are staying nearby at a Hampton Inn and searched for restaurants. This had great reviews and was a... pleasant walk. Very clean, nice people working there, and food was excellent. Pasta was freshly made in house. Generousportions too. Read more
The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. I was recommended by the waiter to try the... Chicken and Shrimp Alfredo. This dish was amazing!!! Small square sized bites of grilled chicken and 5 jumbo sized shrimp. Thewinner of this dish was actually THE PASTA!!! The pasta was freshly made in house and it just melted in your mouth. They haveeverything from Spaghetti and meatballs to homemade pizza. I highly recommend this place. Read more
We were in the dining room to the right of the entrance. We were a party of 11 and we had a reservation. It was quite some time... till our server even came to the table to ask what we would like to drink it was probably 20 minutes till we got our drinks thenwe said we wanted to place an order but someone ordered alcohol drink and he decided to get that before taking our order. Didn'tthink that made any sense. It was extremely noisy in that room. I don't know if it's your acoustics but it needs something doneplus the lighting was very poor hard to see the menu which is printed very small. I thought the food which I had was the specialfor Friday night scallops Positano was basically Fair, three scallops basically pretty small and some crab on the top the pastawas fair, the Caesar salad was okay. Glass of wine was a generous portion. The desserts were excellent. The server had too manytables on his plate perhaps that's why we were not tended to very well but usually when it's a large party you have two peopletaking care of that.
