Good quality, problematic execution. No pictures because we ordered takeout which is not a fair representation of... food. Chicken Stephen - good sauce, not too salty, lot too watery. Chicken breast dry even with sauce. Potatoes tasted good buta bit dry. But where was the crab. Maryland Crab Chowder - tomato based soup, mildly spicy, nice flavor Maryland Jumbo Crab cake- good flavor and good size but both were burnt on one side. Read more
I went there for my birthday celebration with the family. It was dining under the stars. Wednesday 8/3. The sevice was good. I... ordered salmon with Spinach risotto. Service doesn't match prices. Let say this was my first dining under the stars experience and I love this idea and will... absolutely support dining event on another Wednesday. Stephen's on State however was a disappointment. The hostess and Mgrwere attentive after noticing we had been waiting a while for our waitress but sadly that level of service continue during ourmeal. Great quality food, poorly presented by staff. Oh and waitress was tipped standard 15%.. Read more
My first time at Stephen’s. Took my two sisters and my niece. Joe was our waiter. He was super friendly and really great about... everything. Really loved the calamari and egg rolls. My ribeye was perfect. My sisters really enjoyed their meals. Really greatatmosphere. It was a cold and rainy night but I felt like I was having a home cooked meal at home back in the day. The food was okay. They didn't have scallops which came in my dish abd replaced it with extra shrimp. The seasoning was lacking.... The chocolate martini and bacon wrapped shrimp were delicious. The service was good. Read more
We had date night at Stephens on State in Media, and it was fantastic! Nice laid back atmosphere, staff were friendly and... welcoming. Our server Kiley was awesome. Everything about our meal was on point. The mixed drinks were very nice, ourappetizer, the shrimp and crab ceviche was wonderful - full of nice sized chunks of both shrimp and crab. We ordered the 14 ozNew York Strip Steak, Ribeye Special, and short rib mac & cheese. Our entrees were absolutely delicious; seasoned well and thesteaks cooked to a perfect medium rare. For dessert, the creme brulee and tiramisu toped the evening off nicely. Just anoutstanding evening all around, and we would definitely dine here again. Well done! Read more
