I tried to order again and it turns out their coleslaw is 2.50 to add to a side now . Will never order again. Coleslaw isintegral to fish and chips. Poor decision there. missing the homemade coleslaw for sure. I've been here a few times now and fish is always hella greasy, maybe it needs to visit ... some sort of a drying napkin before it hits the plate? super super greasy. it should taste more like flaky chicken than a deepfried soggy stick of butter. they also used to make the Caesar salad per order, now it seems like it might be sitting in theback for a while. the quality of food went down while the prices went up. can't believe I'm actually saying this but mouro'sbattered frozen fish might actually be better. and cheaper. I am very disappointed that they cannot take the time to do home made french fries. Now that would make it a fish and chip shop... and fantastic. The prices have gone up for the quality of food. the only thing we like and go in quit often for is the fish. We get the two piece and the fish portion is great but as I said the fries are disgusting and the coleslaw is not what it shouldbe. The staff should have a dress code. the girls in their short shorts do not belong in the family fish and chip shop. Theybelong in a bar. But of course we will continue to go just for the fish. Newly renovated, new owners, new updated menu items, and new staff!! Been there numerous times since the updates and it has been... a great experience. The food has been delicious, the staff has been friendly, great customer service, nice clean establishmentand good price for the amount food you will be served! If you ate here before the new owners took it over and were displeased,please give it another try now! You won't be disappointed! Definitely made my top 5 places to eat in Medicine Hat. Read more
