Had the ribeye steak and seafood fettuccine. The steak was flat as a board and not cooked right. The seafood was overcooked. The... pasta came out cold and cheese on top was rock hard. We decided to eat here since we were staying at the lodge already. It was also kids eat free with every adult entree, which was... nice. We had good service despite it being slow. It ended up getting very busy in there so I'm assuming this is why. Our winewas good. The kids food seemed OK. My expensive chicken dish was quite small for the price and my potatoes (which were deepfried in some sort of batter) were frozen in the middle. Although they were understaffed and very busy, our service was excellent. Our food was great. The prime rib special is amazing;... if i had one critique it would be more of advice than a critique: dont bother with the roasted fingerlings and get yourself someof that garlic mash instead. Best mashed potatoes I've ever had in a restaurant, hands down. This coming from a self proclaimed"Potato Princess". Everything was really good and family friendly. I stopped going to this restaurant about 2 years ago due to poor food. Tonight we decided to give it a try on the recommendation... of a friend. I was very impressed with the whole meal experience. The staff was friendly and efficient, the quality of the foodwas very good and the presentation was done well. I had the chicken cordon bleu and the chicken was real chicken not reformedchicken. My wife had the Sir loin and found it tender and tasty. We will be making this one of our regular stops. Read more
