Whenever we choose a place to eat out in our home town, The Thai Orchid is our favourite! We love everything about it. The food... is exceptional, the atmosphere (the booths especially) is warm, inviting and very comfortable, and the service is THE BEST. Onefeels valued as a customer and you are treated like royalty. We were lucky to get in! We think it was the owner who said they?d fit us in if we didn?t stay too long. We decided to go for it... and have a quick meal. Appetizers were fantastic and the mains were too. We ordered the hot and it was nice, not what I?d callhot really. The waitress and service in general was excellent. Read more
Extremely mediocre. Got their pad Thai and it came out soupy with no flavour. Hope the dine in experience is better
We were passing through town and had delivery today. Coconut soup had no rice, there was no additional sauces, in the bag, the... Pad Thai was dry, like plain noodles - not saucy at all and they had little to no veggies, the lady who took our order didn?ttell us delivery was 10$. We over paid today. Live and learn. Stopped here as a quick meal stop while passing through the city. Ordered the spring rolls, Pad Thai, Red Curry Noodle Bowl, and... a Thai Iced Tea. The iced tea was awesome and I'd recommend it. The red curry and the pad thai had option for spiceyness. We gotmild for the pad thai, and authentic for the red curry. I was skeptical it would meet my spice standards when the servermentioned it wasn't super spicy, but I was pleasantly surprised! It didn't have me crying or sweating, but I could definitelytaste it. The total meal was about $80 after tip and we both took home boxes. We were originally going to get the summer rollsbut they weren't available, next time I guess! Read more

We were just passing through Medicine Hat and found this gem!!!! We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated promptly and... courteously. Our server, Hadiza was very professional and rendered excellent service! This gives us a reason to visit againnext time we are traveling through. Five stars. Great experience. Read more
We dined at this restaurant when it was located in Bow Island. It was excellent then and still is now. We tried Mussels in Spicy... Black Bean Sauce, Keo's Spring Rolls and Drunken Noodles........all delicious and plentiful. The ambience was pleasant andpeaceful and our server was efficient and polite. Thai Orchid Room definitely deserves the Certificate of Excellence award! Read more
