Stopped in for a couple of drinks and some appetizers. The ceviche was very good along with some chips and salsa. Their... signature blackberry mint margarita was made from scratch. The bar tender did a great job of muddling the mint and blueberry itwas not overly sweet and had a great flavor. Only draw back is at $13 it\'s a little on the pricey side. Staff was veryfriendly. A true gem on the Medina square! Truly impressed with the quality of the food and atmosphere here. It’s obvious the owners... and their crew have put a lot of effort into creating something that far surpasses what usually goes for Mexican food aroundhere. We got tacos, the trio of dips and a margarita sampler. Everything was delicious! The tortillas were homemade, the quacwas amazing, and the tacos absolutely on point. This is a GREAT Mexican Restaurant that has a large bar area and a couple of large dining rooms too. They are right on the... Medina Square. They have a nice selection on their menu and a good kids menu. The food is really good and the restaurant is veryclean with a festive and cheerful vibe. Service was prompt and polite. I am SHOCKED at the bad reviews. Bland food? Definitely not! We ordered the queso, guac, salsa, and quesadilla sampler. All were... delicious. Yes, you have to pay for the chips and salsa, but that\'s typical at upscale Mexican restaurants like this. It\'s notunheard of. I really love how many types of street tacos there are. Incredibly impressed with our first experience at Monarch. The atmosphere is very upscale but the help and attitude is very laid... back. The menu is not expensive but covers anything you would need or expect. The food you get is worth the price in quantityand quality. I would recommend this to anyone and we will definitely be back!
