I had been to this restaurant many years ago and finally was able to return and enjoy the food here yet again. I was, however,... disappointed to find that they are not the same as I remembered. When I visited previously, they had the unique experience inwhich you were able to cut your own steak from the larger piece and you payed for it by the pound! They had a display case withmeats for sale etc. now, it is basically the restaurant and they mostly serve burgers of one form or another with a few otheritems. All of that said, what they did serve was every bit as good as what I recall! Our burgers were cooked as requested, withample toppings and they were correct as ordered. The potato wedges were good and they came with plenty of gooey cheese, not askimpy amount! The service was good and the facility was as expected. Since it was intended to look like an Old West place, itwas right on cue with the worn wooden railings, steps etc and the old license plates, signs, and other memorabilia fit rightin! Pricing had gone up a lot since last time but was competitive for what you get. Our Seismic Meer?s Cheeseburger was a fullpound burger for $16.95 so there were no complaints since most places don?t even have a burger that big! Went for lunch and it was very busy and packed full of people. Parking was very limited. We stood in line for a long time in... cramped spaces. I would not recommend for anyone with mobility or sensory difficulties. Cobbler with ice cream was yummy and theburger was good, nothing that absolutely wowed me though. The waitress, on the other hand, did. She was absolutely perfect. Iliked the interesting decor and it gave me things to look at while we were waiting which helped the time pass much more easily.I loved the writings on the wall in the bathroom. Read more

Really cool place in the middle of nowhere between Lawton and Oklahoma City. Started out serving the mining town of Meers in... the early 1900s, been going strong since. Beef comes from their own herd of longhorn cattle. The menu is currently limited dueto Covid related staffing issues, but the burgers they are known for are still there and still amazing. There is very often await to get in, but it is very much worth it. Read more

First time here. Tried an 8oz burger. Wow was it good and also a lot of burger. The cobbler was outstanding. Plenty of parking.... They only take cash so make sure you have enough. Read more

Meers Store excels in what they do: create deliciously mammoth-sized burgers and deep fried things. Besides that, the food is a... failure. $4 for tasteless skinny shoe-string fries in a cardboard box. Is it possible to fail at BLTs? Yes, at the Meers Storeit is possible. First, the menu states ?Bacon, lettuce, tomato, and MAYO?. Please know that there is a difference betweenMayonnaise and salad dressing. There is nothing more unappetizing than biting into a sickly sweet glob of salad dressing whenyou expect MAYO, and there is nothing more defining about a place where people who work there do not know the difference. Asfor the paper thin, short, yet plentiful pieces of bacon scraps, they were generously piled onto the ? toasted bread? whichingeniously ( I thought) was merely a hamburger bun used backward to give the illusion of bread. It was the worst BLT I haveexperienced. If you go to this place because if its unique home on the range, old- time pioneer feel, stick with the burgers! Finally, I have to tell you that the people who work here could not be nicer folks. I might have made a bitter complaint uponexiting, but why ruin the moment for the hardworking and friendly individuals that were just getting through the day? Read more

Great fresh and huge 16 oz burger. Made from local longhorn cattle. We had the seismic cheese burger and fries. We split it and... it was definitely delicious and filling. It had everything except the kitchen sink on it. If your near Mears, OK it's worth thestop. Nice little museum on the walls also. Read more

Very limited menu and the staff acted as if they did not want to accommodate our group of family that had just finished a... military service at Fort Sill. They split us all up into 5 separate tables and made a big deal out of that then without askingwho was on what tickets, they wrote a a separate ticket for each table and added gratuity. The gratuity was no big deal butasking them to break the tickets up for the right families was. I'm not going to discuss the food or the limited menu just thehorrible experience. That speaks for the whole facility Read more
