We went to dinner with our two year old and my husband and the waitress was very unpleasant. It took about 50 minutes to get our... breakfast that we ordered for dinner. The waitress was not apologetic about the situation and lacked empathy. It is verydifficult to sit there almost an hour with a toddler to wait for this long. We also told the waitress can they please make thebacon extra crispy because we know usually at the Cracker Barrel they don?t make it crispy at all so to save time for thewaitress and us we told her while we ordered in the beginning. When we finally received the food about 50 minutes later, baconwas barely cooked and my husband got one piece cut into two. We had to ask her if we can give our bacon back so they can cook itlonger and it get extra crisp like we asked. She seemed very bothered and said she would have to find a plate some where so wecan hand her over the bacon. Instead she should have said let me get your new bacon and make sure it?s cooked longer. Iunderstand that since Covid there is issues with short staff and mistakes will happen however it?s all about how you handle itand lacking empathy isn?t right. It?s also very said that the portions are definitely smaller yet the prices are the same oreven higher. Which is fine but if the experience is horrible than it just makes it worse. When we went to the front desk to payour bill I explained the horrible experience we had ti the cashier and she did nothing about it except said she understood andhaving a toddler is hard ect. I?m not asking for anything but just acknowledge the situation and say next time you will dobetter and give a better experience. I wrote an email to customer service but still no response. Read more

Gross gross gross gross! The saltiest ickiest meal! We love our Cracker Barrel location near our home so we figured we would eat... at this one since it was on our road trip! Absolutely not equal to the one we are used to! The server was very nice butunfortunately new so she didn?t seem to know much about anything. The fried chicken which I was told only came with a mix ofwhite and dark- came out with 2 breasts and I hate breast meat lol. Just my luck! My husband left the bacon on his plate basedon how undercooked it was. The biscuits were salty, the gravy was gluey and YUCK! The corn muffins were rocks! We spent $35 tobe sick essentially. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. However, after my wife's plate was served, it took another 15 min to bring mine... (although the waitress promised thrice it would arrive 'right away') - neither eating separate from each other nor waiting andthen having a cold dish is a pleasant experience. Also, out of 3 sides, 1 was wrong and one was missing. Not even an apology wasissued when we asked for the missing one (did not even complain about the wrong one) Still 3 stars because of the high qualityfood, but overall we expected better service! My husband & I Love going to the Local Cracker Barrel... Always so pleasant, even when it's packed! They really know how to take... care of Everyone and treat everyone like family! Their portions are huge, which is great, especially since I can only ever eat1/2 of what they serve! I get to ask for a box and take home left overs for lunch the next day!! Yay!!! Sarah was our server just 20 min to close. Always with a smile and was honest on her suggestions. This made the night for... us. Food quality was there. Everything at righ temperature, breaded items were not overwhelmed with flour, constant drinkrefills.... All was great. She was very kind with us even being one of the last ones in restaurant.
